Home and away
Life goes on the same, bury the pain
And hold on to love
Heal the song, sing along
But what does it change

Oh this life is so confusing
Feels like I'm always losing

Come in knowing everything
But don't say a word, till they teach you the way
Words are found too close to the edge
That we don't dare sing

This will turn into something else, something else
And when it does, I'll be somewhere else, somewhere else
Where else?

And you said I should be myself
Despite all the wrong, dragging you back
Forgive and then forgone and on and on and on and on

This life is so confusing
Feels like I'm always losing

And this'll turn into something else, something else
But when it does, I'll be somewhere else, somewhere else
Where else?

to be perfectly honest, these guys were a little drab live somehow. perhaps it was the vibe coming from seeing them with dido. the lead guitarist was fantastic, though, i really enjoyed his energy. but i met them, and they are the nicest band i've ever met. really down to earth, and easy to talk to. i can't help but want to support them based on how much i liked them as people.
These guys are boring to me.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.

The riff sounds like a ripoff of the one used in a Jefferson Starship song, I think it's called Jane?
Quite nice. I'm glad they've gone in different directions since The Man Who.

Thanks for the correction. In looking for the name of the song, I actually stumbled across a website discussing the commonly misunderstood lyrics of the song. Figures. So since you clearly know the song, did you hear parts of it in this Travis song?

The recurring theme sounds like an old song. Something like this... "Summer dreams make me feel fine, blowing through the canyons of my mind" Can't remember who did that one. That said, I still like it.
