This is our fork in the road
Love's last episode
There's nowhere to go, oh no
You made your choice
Now it's up to me
To bow out gracefully
Though you hold the key, but baby

Whenever you call me, I'll be there
Whenever you want me, I'll be there
Whenever you need me, I'll be there
I'll be around

I knew just what to say
Now I found out today
That all the words had slipped away, but I know
There's always a chance
A tiny spark will remain, yeah
And sparks turn into flames
And love can burn once again, but I know you know

Whenever you call me, I'll be there
Whenever you want me, I'll be there
Whenever you need me, I'll be there
I'll be around, yeah

Whenever you call me, I'll be there
Whenever you want me, I'll be there
Even if I have to crawl, I'll be there
I'll be around

Just call me on the phone, I'll be there
I'll never leave you alone, I'll be there
Just call out your name, I know I know you know
I'll be around

I'll be standing in a coffin, I'll be there
I'll be a-rippin' it up, I'll be there
I'll be calling out your name to let you know
I'll be around

Yes! Burned into my DNA...
Like many of us my child hood was f**cked up with family disfunction, booze, ect.  But this......aaawww. So sweet, absolute joy.
Fabulous.  Smiles just appear when the first bar is played.  How cool is that?

Must be an oversight by Bill where he added the same song from two different albums. It's nice to see that the voting histogram is almost identical for these two clones of the song {#Cool}
Why are there two same songs? {#Eh}

I'm a kid with my cheap AM transistor radio again, hanging out under the big pine tree in the front yard.

Every time this song comes on, I have to stop whatever I am doing and dance.
and sometimes sing along if no one is around.

Thank you RP for helping me groove along with the Spinners, this is delicious radio, sets things right again

All Spinners, all day.

"That's funny!"

You can put on Motown's Temptations and Stevie Wonder anthologies along with Atlantic's Spinners anthology and pretty much not stop dancing for 7-8 hours.

Another one I'd hide from in their/my day... Now...? A nice throwback - kinda like me (the nice part depends who ya ask!)
"I'll be around"{#Whistle}

On July 13, 1984, while performing at Ivey's nightclub in Oakland, California, Wynne suffered a heart attack and died the following morning.

For those of us old enough to remember when this song was first played on the radio...

     I'm betting we're all smiling right now and feeling a bit younger.

I remember listening to this song on my little GE, transistor radio when I was a kid.  That doesn't really make me feel any younger, but the song does still bring a smile to my face.  Wonderful tune.  {#Good-vibes}

Yay! I vote for more of this kind of thing.

All great music is radio paradise.

fair enough, but there are certain genres that have plenty of 'great' music that are a bit underrepresented here (e.g. 70s R&B and dance)
All great music is radio paradise.
Thom Bell, ladies and gentlemen! Thom Bell!
No Way!
This song is so un-radio-paradise
i love this song!
Well, this is a surprise.
