When I first saw your trespasser
He wandered uninvited to your door
He seemed to know his way around
Although I'd never seen his face before
Pausing for a moment underneath your window ledge
He turned around to see the shadow of the sundial on the hedge
There was a tightness in his face as though he were on edge
I don't know why

Saw him live, great show, and yes, this track was very good. The best ones were On the border, and Year of the cat, where every band member got to impress us with their parts that make up one of the best tunes ever written and performed.

Road to Moscow is one of the great songs of all time. Talk about emotion. And it's not just another sappy love song, but a song about real life and the brutality of war. Brilliant.
Not a personal favourite but he certainly has a lot of excellent tracks other than « Year of the Cat » and he can pick a guitarist!

Somehow Mr. Stewart's style does not seem to blend well with Ardeshir Farah's superb execution

I've always liked Al, not your average musician. Haven't seen him live, but I did get the chance to see Strunz and Farah( Mr Farah playing impeccable lead on this track), truly superb musicians. Apparently Mr. Stewart keeps some dam fine company!
Another eclectic choice of Al Stewart music. I love RP.
