didgeridoooooo
Nice segue from The Song Yet To Be Sung! Bill's a genius.
Nevez in a village in Britanny (France) and an an-dro is a specific Briton circle dance.
I'm not a huge fan of didgeridoo (nor a hater) but I think everything blends well in there :)

I agree. Ever since hearing Yothu Yindi years ago, I can't get enough. Even tried to learn how to play it - extremely difficult. One manual said to expect to take a year just to learn the correct breathing patterns...

Reminds me a bit of OKA from Australia.

This reminds me of the Australian folk fusion band from the 80's called Sirrocco
love it!

Yes.
Still not heard specific breton music on RP but a breton language track title is a good to see.
Very nice indeed.

Sorry . . . count me as anti-Didjeridoo (or mouth harp or an electric locust entering the recording studio or whatever that is) . . .
Kinda sounds like a good song with some wise guy playing along for most of the song, on an annoying instrument. When that droning, grating sound isn't playing, the song is actually good.

This is a pretty good song...if they would get rid of the barking dog, buzzing bees and bothersome sound efects.
This is just sooooo RP. Love it. Vive l'eclecticisme! 8 from the captivated Nottingham jury.
I love that the fact that you play such a wide range of music! Really digging Outback! Would never heard of them if it wasn't for Radio Paradise!

the answer to your question maybe (maybe!!!) can be found by investigating the cover-arts.

Agreed, at least the first few bars. Departs afterwards, but there's a definite similarity.
Oh man I love this. I has a vaguely middle eastern flair to it somehow. That makes no sense, since this is indigenous to Australia, correct? Whatever, it has a great sound.
this is exactly the same tune as one from a French band from Britany called Gwendal - it's at least 30 years old... or is it a traditional celtic tune?

Ah, I *thought* the title looked familiar! I have most of Stivell's work. Should probably upload some to the LRC, but I suspect it won't see the light of day.
Gotta love the didgeradoo! Awesome
For one brief horrible moment when I heard the opening lick I thought it was gonna be the Wailin Jennys Devils Paintbrush Road(again).
I'm tempted to give it a 10 just because it isn't.
I like their steakhouse.
His song inspires hatred in my heart.

I went to a wake tonight, just back of beyond, and it was the didge that made the atmosphere complete as we set the ashes on the barge and let it go out to sea. To hear this on my return was magic!
Wheeeeeee!
This is a FANTASTIC album. Go buy it. Now.

this album came out in 1990 or so. It's wicked to think about, I thought it was a recent release until I did an allmusic.com check. Very good indeed.
