Except in the comments, not much info on this recording or band.
Too bad, because this is really good.

I wonder if I burned any calories listening to this...I did notice a few appendages moving...

This is unbearable.
Avg. Rating 7 something. Must be kidding, give me a break, this is boooooring.

Funny!  The only Katie Herzig song I know is Hologram, and that one is nothing like this at all!  I had to check and make sure it was the same Katie Herzig.  Hologram is up on the LRC right now, I hope it makes it to the main list!

(By the by, I heard Hologram on a Paste sampler, not from Grey's Anatomy.  Nice that she's getting some recognition, though, it's a great song!)

I was getting a little "food coma" snooze happening.. then this song came on. Picked me right up! Sweet!{#Dancingbanana}

Very enjoyable!  Some excellent musicianship here.

I dig Celtic rock, except possibly those that are 100% Pogues ripoffs (Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys). Even a fan like myself, however, has to admit the genre is a bit played out.
How can you say that Flogging Molly is a Pogues ripoff? I've found their sound to be quite different. I like the Pogues, but I *love* Flogging Molly. (I admit I'm somewhat embarrassed by that -- I do recognise that the Pogues are a greater band, but I can't help it. Flogging Molly just makes me want to dance. And for someone who is disabled as I am that takes quite a bit!)

And what about Roaring Jack?
How is it that I missed these folks? I thought I knew every decent Celtic music band out there.
I started out giving this a 2 - when they changed the pace into double-time it fell immediatly to a 1 and in my head a question arose "Why oh why?"
^_^
Newcomers Home were a great band! Katie Herzig is amazing! Great to hear this band on RP Play some more of this & also some of Katie's Solo stuff ... she continues to ease my mind!
Yeah! Like that sound! Please more of it!! ^_^

I never thought I'd like this kind of music but I'm beginning to. Different and fun.

It's really easy: Just listen to it in the morning with a hangover. This was worse than someone running their fingernails down the chalkboard for 3 minutes.
How can someone not like this song?

Snappy. Cheers to all things celtic.
Makes you want to get up and dance a jig!
Love it! Very Celtic-Fusion-Rock, sounding. ;) More please? Or mayby some steeleyespan?
There's great potential in bluegrass / rock fusion. Despite the strong musicianship, this song just doesn't quite capture it - at least not the first time around. Second time around....the blue grass / celtic themes stand out well on the own. For me the electric rock guitar doesn't mix well.
