five seconds would be too long. makes me change the station whenever it comes on (bluesonair.com here we come)
well......interesting but..... just a little too long for it's kind.
Very nice - it's got that same ragged-edge quality to the voice that Tom Waits has sometimes. To repeat a question from below, does anybody know what the words mean?
Here I am at work, reading my trash novel and all of a sudden, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?
wow! anyone know what he's saying?
Very interesting. Thumbs up.
Sure it's eclectic, but this one is painfully eclectic. Ouch.
Bill, where did you find this?! I saw Momo live in Conakry, Guinea, and it was so beautiful it literally brought tears to my eyes. I hope the non-believers and make-it-stop-niks below will give him a second chance.

Wow, the Sponge Monkeys have another song out. I think I prefer the Moon Song to this.
euhm... i like this song, and i also 'like' the Moon Song (well, i think it is absolutly hilarious ).. now what does that say about me 8-< ... maybe something like this:
Add me to the "err...no thanks" list. I'm open to a lot of different musical adventures, but this one was just too painful to me. <-(

I thought the same thing, I even had to go find the original and compare, the moon song is way better...
So bad that it's really good.
I am a true admirer of music around the world and ethnic expressions. I don't know about this one...It is soulfull but with an annoying voice...Not trully inspired..but that is my opinion
painful.

Most excellent stuff. Kind of in the Tom Waits style
Not sure I would say it is excellent, but I also had a quick thought that vocal style vaguely reminiscent of Waits. If I knew what the words meant, I could make a better judgment on whether this is the AFrican (??) version of Waits.

Didn't this guy used to sing with Black Oak Arkansas? 8O This is definitely eclectic, and yet some T-Rex I uploaded couldn't make it on the air??
Close to the suckiest I've heard. There's a difference between eclectic and just plain horrible.
Will it never end?? gah
Well I Like it
lets see now , this crap.....or television. hmmmm.... i havent watched teevee in five years now , MAYBE it has improved
OK ...... we seem to have found the theme song for "Eclectic".
What's all the yelling about??

Ditch the vocals and this would be a cool song. :nodhead:
I have to agree. Don't find the voice appealing either. Start enjoying the music only to be jolted by, um, ah, the 'singing'.
I'm going to break the "great blues song" trend and say I just didn't like it. It sounds to me like a jaunt into drunkeness with a vocal coughing spell. This describes my feeling: ~Scott
Most excellent stuff. Kind of in the Tom Waits style
Where can i buy this record?
wow, this song gives me chills!!! everything fits, dont ditch a thing! this is about 'life', no doubt about it.
That voice put me in a horrible mood....
hey! a weird new twist on the blues! kinda like it...
There is something amazing about this - strangely, it's the first song to cheer me up all day. Anyone know what the heck it's about? No, scratch that. Ignorance is bliss.

Great sax, vocals were kinda trippy though.
What was that 8O
I like it... Kinda bluesy. Sings with a passion. About what I have no idea however...
Tap that foot to the crazy gruff man! We like...
Spanish BB king... likeable.
