Keep it sweet
Florist of dreams
A tangerine
You're burning up
The forest of love
You're tangled up

You're a weird child
Like your dad was
You're a bee sting
You're a mad dog
You're a fierce soul
In your bad clothes
Need some good luck
In your mad love

Keep it cheap
The promise of peaks
You've never seen
You turned around
Fountains of change
You made your name
What a name

You're a weird child
Like your dad was
Can you be still
You're a mad dog
You're a fierce soul
In your bad clothes
Need some good luck
In your mad love

It's just your magic is more than electric
It spins inside

Take me home
I'm staying up the road
I'll let you know
It isn't you
I need a clear space
To think it through

I'm a weird child
Like your dad was
I'm a bad star
You're a mad dog
You're a queen Jane
It's a hard slog
I'm a pale saint
In your mad love

You're the May Queen
I'm the magpie
We're the twin sisters
We're the real dreamers

probably said this before about another catherine wheel tune but I can't understand how it is these guys never got more recognition
{#Notworthy}
Love love LOVE. Much more CW please!
Great tune! How about Elliott Smith's "Kiwi Maddog 20/20" for a follow-up?

I really like this band. Every time I hear one of their songs, I flip back to see who it is, then end up making a comment here! They may not be groundbreaking, but they are good for the ears...

Agreed. I saw lead singer Rob Dickinson solo on tour with The Church & he was outstanding. Underappreciated & exceptional talent IMHO.

I thought this was new Collective Soul...
Nice to hear this here... love Rob Dickinson's voice. With Catherine Wheel would come back!
GOOD, SEXY ROCK-MUSIC is all about SONG LIKE THIS...!

10!!!

PS
What the hell is wrong with those people (5 Bums) that give this song a "2"!

They are possibly those who say that NEIL YOUNG is old!

LAUGHABLE!

You rock!
Thanks for playing Catherine Wheel. They have been one of my favorite bands for a very long time and it's great to hear people are still playing their music.

Nice tune. The cover art reminded me of:

Quite good, this. :) RP has some kick-ass play-runs.

I dig. Aho!
Sounds Good to me!!!
Every song I've heard from this band on RP I like.
Reminiscent of superb Aussie band Something For Kate.

Amongst my favourite Catherine Wheel songs... As others have pointed out, CW tracks grow on you - some of the best ones, like this, sound boring and repetitive at first, but then it hits you (3-5 listens in), and you can't get enough.
Shivers every time now...

EDIT: Just spotted - the "others" was me, three years ago :-)

Well, great minds think alike.

Never heard this before, but I liked it very much and rated it a 9.
BTW, this one has a (recent) Collective Soul feel. Not a bad thing.
Ferment is still on my Desert Island list. Simply awesome.

It is a great early morning song.

Great song - as with all Catherine Wheel, it improves the more you listen.
I don't know about "great," but I agree with you that it improves with time. I was humming along thinking, pretty good tune, then I checked the page and saw I'd earlier rated it a 3. Bumped it to 6 immediately.
babyarm
Love the Wheel. Rob Dickinson is striking it out on his own. (click here) for more details.
...Did he just say, "RPeeps you never seen"?? LOL.
If Joan Osborne and Nash Kato (from urge overkill) collaborated I'd expect something like this.
8) (probably the only album I don't have by them, hmmm)

...boring.... :/ But thanks for playing Porcupine Tree :D:D
Now this is why I listen to RP.

It's so great to see this band appear on RP. Thanks!
Just love this song. :nodhead:
Great song from an under-rated band. Wishville is superb...try it with a nice cold glass of milk and some ju-jubees fresh from your pocket--all warm and mushy! The first 5 songs on the CD especially rock!!
