Sounds a lot like Tweedy and Farrar - Nice segue after Son Volt

It really does! No wonder I like it so much!!!
You seriously need to play this tune, Bill. Seriously.
His voice is a dead ringer for Jay Farrar. Nasal and whiny.
I gave this a 3 and still that feels gennerous.

With so much outstanding music on RP this stands out as very average. No thanks.
I agree completely...

I hear a lot of Van Morrison in his voice.
I saw this guy open for Ryan Adams. I remember wanting to punch him in the face after an absurd cover of Neil Young's song "Helpless". He stopped the song half way through to talk about some random gibberish only minutes after complaining about MTV not playing music.

If it were, I might have liked it more. Just ok.

How come I like him better than Ryan Adams? Ryan Adams is so cheezy.

I would say it's a cross between early Stones and Neil Young...
Produced by Ryan Adams
