1975, I'm 10-years old, my first & only family trip to Portland, OR. We head out to an overcast, cool day at the beach and a shirtless "hippie" attired in cutoff denim shorts and a bowler pulls onto the beach in his white van and BLASTS this song on his stereo! All alone on the beach (we're perched atop an overlooking cliff) he's just tripping balls, blissfully dancing his brains out, twisting and contorting his entire body to the exquisite rhythms of this masterpiece! Although my mom refused to satisfactorily answer my question, "What's the matter with this guy?!", I shall never forget this young (Surely, now an old man....?!) man's exuberance!
Godspeed Hippie Dude! You are forever etched into my memory!

10 years later and I'm only hearing this in my favorites (for the fist time at that) - certainly this can get some 'main mix' love?

Long Live RP!!
54 years old. (second album of TWO that year!) What was old when this shit was new? What kind of music blew the world apart 54 years before, in, um 1917? Louis Armstrong was still in short pants.
GREAT TUNE!!   I was 14yrs old when this came out.  At that time, I thought the wooo wooo L/R panning sounded great in headphones. I still love the tune now, but I can't stand the panning in headphones any more!
No I decrease to 4 - Acceptable  (I don't like it)
To me this is 7 - Quite Likeable
Awful like almost all of Led Zeppelin's ''music''!{#Frustrated}{#Stop} And I really need a vomit emoticon.
A1 ROCK FROM THE GODS BABY WOOOO-HOOOOOOOO!!!    ahh, joy  : )
MORE PLAYS FOR THIS SONG, PLEASE!!!!

This is probably the archetypal, maybe even stereotypical, song about male lust. It's certainly honest, straightforward and in yer face (or in another anatomical part). The wonder is that it lasts more than 3 minutes... ;-)
Early, baby steps for LZ.  I understand they went on to do well.  Wonderful!

All I have to say is - John Bonham is the baddest mofo that ever lived. Even if the rest of the song wasn't godlike, which it is, John's drum playing would be one of the most impressive things to ever hear. The man could play, without equal hands down. I would give my left *** to hear him play live. RIP legend
That song should be played
