I'm a fountain of blood
In the shape of a girl
You're the bird on the brim
Hypnotised by the Whirl

Drink me, make me feel real
Wet your beak in the stream
Game we're playing is life
Love is a two way dream

Leave me now, return tonight
Tide will show you the way
If you forget my name
You will go astray
Like a killer whale
Trapped in a bay

I'm a path of cinders
Burning under your feet
You're the one who walks me
I'm your one way street

I'm a whisper in water
Secret for you to hear
You are the one who grows distant
When I beckon you near

Leave me now, return tonight
The tide will show you the way
If you forget my name
You will go astray
Like a killer whale
Trapped in a bay

I'm a tree that grows hearts
One for each that you take
You're the intruder hand
I'm the branch that you break

*sigh* so many beautifully sad memories attached to this beautiful song. Somebody hand me a kleenex. The video leaves much to be desired, however.
Honestly, I can't believe that anyone who listens to this station would be so irked by Bjork. Since I first heard her I have been captivated by her music, let alone the mystique of her character. Truly she is one of the great voices of our time, exparimanting with harmonics in a way that is simply unique and brilliant. Bachelorette is wrought with beauty and power, and Bjork is a goddess unto music. I will admit her sound is shocking at first but with unhindered ears you can then know that it is pure - revelling in harmony and joy - innocence and enchantment. -Cap
What is with the horrid distortion in this? I had to mute it.
Bjork does for the ears what broken glass does for the throat...
She should stick to fashion.
This sucks so hard it just imploded!

Patti_M vozdic sjadam1 .... careful now, let's not get personnal. were are here to comment on songs broadcasted though RP. As for those who who make it a sport of gratuitous song flaming let's remember that some listerners might be fans and might take your comments personal.
Excellent artist! Bjork has classical training and it's evident in her music. More please! In the Portishead tradition.
I don\'t care how many ducks she wears on the red carpet or how over-produced and hyper-orchestrated her music is, she still can\'t sing for shit.

just like fine wine and different foods and the experience makes you more of a whole person!
I just can\'t stomach this woman.
A wonderful and emotional song, one of the best from (imho) her best album. Björk\'s an acquired taste I guess... :)

you speak the truth, ksb. true innovation and the guts to do your own thing must be applauded.
Love her or hate her, Björk is one of the only \"well-known\" musical artists doing something daring artistically. That alone is enough to pay attention to her. I\'m stumped to think of anyone who is challenging the current music/video medium like she is.
I wish she hadn\'t quit her day job
My satellite kicked out just as this song started. There is a God!
If there were a soundtrack for the Armageddon, Bjork would be on it. Blech.
Boy, I\'m just not in tune with this. I have no problem with the voices of Dylan, Tori Amos, Natalie Merchant, or Neil Young (90% of the time), but Bjork\'s screechings are like nails on a chalkboard to me. Turn it off, please. And she can take her tutu with her.
Great song. But why I got responce \"sorry\" when I uploaded this song long time ago?
Thought RP would evenutally play some Bdork. Pity. Oh well, nobody\'s perfect.
scratchy. to add garbled screwed up noises to otherwise perfectly good music does not make it better. just another annoying trend in already to noisy times.
Very nice. I like.
Björk @ her very best. Just magical.... she\'s an amazing artist. :D :D
