Footsteps of an ancient race? Oh please... Sounds like acoustic Spinal Tap.
If he didn't sing this would be a decent peice. I'm with everyone else on this one... bit on the cheesy side. specially the talking. what is that about? has a decent beat and the guitar is pleasant

I like this song with reservations. The tune is good and the crowd singing with him is compelling, but the lyrics are a bit cheesy, and I'm not sure his voice is well suited to this style. Okay, I'm sure it's not, but it could be worse...well, that came out as less of a recommendation than I had planned, but the opinion stands.
I'm behind that. The wordless daaaa-daaa-daaa bit should be salvaged from this mediocre song and put into a really good song.
not horrible. not my favorite either, tho.
Oh puuuurleeeaaase!!! If I wanted to hear stuff like this, I'd go to my favorite choice of cheezy bar with a bar-singer... Oh my God! Now he just got to the sing-along part where he talks... YUCK!

Boy, I thought this was cheezy before I heard the sing-along part. This is extra cheeeezy!
It's time to listen to something else, I'll check back later.

This song is good at 3 in the morning. However, at 11AM, it seems to grate. How odd.
Feels like its straight from the \"Start Your Very Own Cult\" playbook.
Pass. Never liked Velveeta.
Man, this guy\'s so cheesy he gives me gas.

Wow that is the worst idea I have heard all day. I hate both these songs.
I heard Luka\'s Don\'t Be So Hard On Yourself here on RP a couple weeks ago and liked it so much that I downloaded a ton of Luka\'s other songs. Don\'t make the same mistake I did; while this song and Dont Be So Hard On Yourself are both quality tunes, the rust of Luka is mostly cheesy or happy-go-lucky folk pop crap :(

I respect any musician who is willing to stand solo behind his guitar.

It does sound a lot like them, minus the instruments. This song gets silly when he goes into the whispered monologue. Reminds me of this: "...long ago, there was an ancient race: the Druids. Nobody knew...who they were...or what they were doing." Apart from that, I can't help thinking about that Luka guy on ER singing this song.
didnt we already have rusted root?

thanks for digging that up.
Sorry...

A $3000 weekend away with the Mumbai guru from Nirvana - right?
Well, Dick, it\'s got a good sound but I don\'t care for the lyrics one bit. I give it a 5.
I like this one. Quite soothing at the end of stressfull day
