Again, I don't even claim to be a Deadhead wanna be. My exposure to GD's work is very limited. It's the harmonies and the instrumentation that strike me as similar.
As far as my ratings go, yeah, I've noticed that I tend to rate songs higher than the average in cases where I like the songs. Oh well. I guess that is the mood I was in when I rated the songs. If you want to pick out some specifically, I can review my ratings.

It is a matter of personal listening enjoyment and if you think ten (Godlike) is a good rating for songs like Louie, Louie, I Am A Rock, or Good Golly Miss Molly, so be it.
