Superfido... are you sure? For me is absolutely brazilian.."Air batucada" It is rather chilly! {#Bounce}
Oh yeah! TC does it again.
This reminds me of being on a tour in Islamabad, in a dance palace that is western oriented but still kind of neo seudo eastern.

in-doob-a-dubitably sir! (points to the first one to cite the reference)
Great if you can push the bass up with clean highs
Boring.
Another great segue from Fun Lovin' Criminals- There Was a Time
This song makes me want to buy a Mitsubishi.
Mute, :beat:
Great groove...don't know this album, but I'm gonna.
So cool. I've got to add them to my list! :jump:

I agree - it's the coolest thing about this track - it's like two different grooves kind of fighting each other, but not really

Not at all! I think it's one of the more remarkable things about this track. It reminds me that I'm not, in fact, in a dream flashback from Wayne's World. :devil_pimp:

I don't know...I kind of like it even though I'm not a huge fan of this kind of music...
:cowboy: indubitably smooth
yawn...
Anybody else being driven nuts by the trace of hesi tation in the rhythm loop?
I keep expecting Garth Trinidad's voice to come in over this, giving me the KCRW lineup, song info, local concert news, etc...
This is great ambient, background, not too distracting at work music. Some may call it boring. In another time I would call it bong music. But I have moved on.
    I almost was in too deep a trance to say that this is just boring.

Ha! And I was thinking that was a pretty interesting use of Muzak-esque themes. Muzak has been used to calm, numb, and manipulate the masses for the last 20-30 years but I haven't before heard an artist spit it back in an expression of something else. Guy who created Muzak = criminal genius
You haven't seen Muzak lately. https://www.newyorker.com/fact/content/articles/060410fa_fact

How do they do it?? So many albums, so many great tunes....
Uh...sarcasm right?
nice mix of chill-out in the background and beat (or batucada ;-)) up front.
Ahh, nice to hear!
Now this is why we have mute buttons!
How do they do it?? So many albums, so many great tunes....
at the start, i thought this was going to be their remix of "Who Needs Forever" -- is any of this track used in that one, or do they just seem similar...?
:stop: My cat comes up with better stuff using "Garage Band".
This is the only place where I can hear two of my favorites back to back, Tom Waits followed by Thievery Corp. This station can really kick ass...
I can't get in tune with what they're laying down here.
So very monotonous!

Don't know if I agree, but that is funny!
Reminds me of the episode of "Friends" where Ross wanted to be a "musician"

This is the music they play on the way up to Heaven...

"Mmmmmmmmmmmm.......Butter Cod!...................Aurghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" =P~

This song is the first on RP that I have had to hit the mute...ever. Just to show you how tolerant I am of this computer generated stuffuss, but this is actually painful.
What car commercial is this from?!?

Yup. Push some buttons, pick some notes, figure out that computer software, run through some loops, then say we're talented musicians....hooray....
Though I admit there is a technical challenge to creating music like this that is beyond my knowledge, it is still just soundscape. There is no song here. Good songs exist on an entirely different and higher plane. ...not that I mind hearing an occasional soundscape, mind you.
just went and bought this this afternoon because of RP, love you guys

Relaxing and therapeutic ... I like it.

Probably best heard through a killer sound system. Enjoyable, but it might just be the way I feel today.
