Well you can bite the bullet
Breathe in, breathe out
Or be a victim all your life
Go window shopping, save your money
Riches to rags overnight

It's a wonderful life
It's a wonderful life

You can join the family business
Serve behind the counter
Even have your name above the door
Join the order, learn the handshake
You won't need protection any more

It's a wonderful life

When you think it's over
You can look through the photos
Taken for posterity and you'll find

Have an affair, get a new interest
Go into debt, go on the sick list
Study at your leisure in your home.

Get into shape, try to lose weight
Regain your confidence, control your fate
Victim of circumstance, look on the bright side

It's a wonderful life
It's a wonderful life
It's a wonderful life
It's a wonderful life.

Its a matter of perspective....
a little lack luster of a song,
great seague into Thievery Corporation.
I suddenly don't feel too happy. awwwww
Existential

I'm intrigued.... How wonderful my life is
Strange, this song only appears on certain versions of this album :( Shame.
Dido played at 2/3 speed.

Black Box Recorder, What a name. Perhaps I will name my next band ( Runaway Truck Ramp)?
Runaway Truck Ramp has been done- a bluegrass band from Colorado. Not too bad, if you go for that sort of thing.

I approve of this idea. Can I play washboard in RTR? Also, first hearing for this song. Not bad at all.
I'm looking for a spoon's player at the moment.

rather short little number isn't it?
Sounds like the theme from the Jetsons.
... Entranced! ... Wonderful Life! ...

Something about the breathy male and female voices, an octave apart, singing a monotonous "melody" about who knows what...just doesn't work for me. I've heard other similar combinations on RP, but regardless of who it is, I've not yet heard one of these "octave apart harmony" duos that would compel me to buy the music. Feh.
Have you ever heard Tori Amos and I don't know who singing The power of orange nickers from last years Beekeeper album. That is very nice in a similar mood.

Maybe I need to hear this again, but if it's a joke, I'm not getting it.
Lyrically more interesting than the Massive Attack before this, and at least as interesting musically, yet it suffers in the ratings in comparison. Oh well, I like it.

Strangest song I've heard in quite a while. It's sweet with all those little tunes going on but dark at the same time, like it..
"...I dunno , Lloyd, the French are a**holes."
Bristol Beat music. Cooool.
OMG - there's no rating for torture!!! I'll confess - but pls make it stop. Nightmare music.
Luke Haines is my hero.
