If you're not hip to this track, still check out the album...really brilliant and full of vitriolic vibes for the industry ans modern life in general...the newer Highway Companion is a wonderful listen, time & time again...a great documentary of the aging/evolution of one of America's most seminal music heroes...IMO.

Kinda reminds me of "Us and Them"... Sorta "Floyd Petty"... pretty cool
I think Petty's channeling Alan Parsons...
I'm glad this song is in the rotation. I thought the Last DJ album was a good collection of songs and the tour to promote it was great. Good memories.
I must say, this is the lamest Tom Petty song I've ever heard. Usually, he's great.
Fantastic.

He's is one of my favorite artists, but I think this song sounds a lot like his She's the One soundtrack in both music and the lyrics.
Unusually aimless for a Petty effort. I must say I\'m disappointingly unimpressed by the new album.
some beach boy like harmonies as well.
