At the first few bars I came here wondering what Gipsy Kings album this was from. Then as I discovered the artist (new to me) and the bars went by and nothing really seemed to develop, I realized what wonders can be achieved with resonant effects and a tinkle bell, and I issued a rare sub 5. Wow...this is a exquisite song...i bought a couple of Jesse Cook albums after hearing this one and there's something for everyone in his music. The reworking of Neil Finn's "Fall at Your Feet" on the same album is a good one, too (but begs the question: why get Danny Wilde of the Rembrandts to handle vocals instead of the real McCoy)? Probably the song I listen to the most is "Down Like Rain" which is also sung by Wilde on the Album Nomad. If you like flamenco-tinged world music, check it out.

Memo to self: buy this! There's a lot of stuff on RP that i think is quite nice but this is the 1st in a while I've been impelled to buy the record. Straightforward feelgood and y not. Admittedly it's borderline schmaltz but it's just far enough north of the border to bear repeated playings.
