A friend who was a big Blind Melon fan turned me on to this album years ago.  Still enjoy it from time to time.  If you like this tune I'd recommend checking it out.  It's pretty good all the way through.

The quivering voice in the chorus reminds me of why I don't like Bright Eyes. The idea that fragility necessarily equates to sincerity is false. Otherwise, this song might be alright.

funny you should mention that - when they toured, they frequently played a seriously arse-kickin' cover of Pink Floyd's "Breathe". also check out Blind Melon if you dig his guitar work.

Compare this to the song that comes after, \"Common Disaster\" by the Cowboy Junkies. \"Not Dead\" is subtle as a sledgehammer and uninteresting musically. Blech. Boring.
