No words, no talk.
We'll go dreaming

No pain, no hurt.
We'll go dreaming

Walk with me,
The future's at hand.
Here with us,
Here where we stand.
We both know the power of pain,
We get back up and start it again.
With new hope, no place for tears,
Leave behind those frozen years.
Come with me and we'll go dreaming.

We don't know how it can be,
Searching out dignity.
Nothing can be as savage as love,
One taste is never enough.
With new hope, no place for tears.
Catch my hand and come with me.
Close your eyes and dream.

Tough room. I get that a majority of commenting listeners don't have a taste for electronica of any sort, but BT has been producing lush, beautifully orchestrated progressive house and techno for over twenty years. I for one am glad that RP is one place where I can hear a variety of music that includes things like this. It's not the only thing I want to hear, but I also don't want to see the best of any genre excluded from being played just because listeners don't like the genre itself.

Don't like something? RP provides a handy PSD button. Another reason I love this station.

yes. it's not my fav either, but i do love BT. got to see him live in cleveland way, way back. it was magical. he really is an interesting artist and i'm happy to hear any of his stuff on RP anytime. mixed in with a variety of other genres, of course.

i think this may have been my favorite album of his.

Not crazy about the song but I agree with your comments completely.

OTB is 100% correct....OP's comment is exactly why I like listening to RP...well it also helps that BillG likes a lot of the same stuff I like ;-) That being said, I'm OK with this track which at some point I rated a 1.  I know BT's work, he's kind of a 'pioneer' in electronica/trance/house, etc., and I am happy to up my low rating to a 5.  And when it comes on in my truck or at home (i.e. with subs and separates) I'll crank the vol knob to the proverbial 11 and enjoy.

LLRP!!

This is so different. I'm frightened.

Ditto. Not enjoyable at all

This is garbage of the lowest order. I'd rather listen to cats in a microwave. Does BT stand for Brutally Tedious?
There's a pile-dirver operating outside my office, so I donned headphones to listen to RP. Then this comes on, oh the irony {#Cheesygrin}
It's worth a 5 though IMO or maybe even a 6
Sorry but this not the reason why I'm listening RP
You normally don't hear this stuff on RP. But I guess it's eclectic. 4.
Gosh he's pretty.
too late as well ;)
heart of gold as psd gift {#Good-vibes}

At this particular moment in a dreary state at my desk, as the caffeine starts to circulate, this works...

ESCM is his best album. Check it out.

The end is the redeeming feature. UNKLE = good electronic music (and there are many other good examples on RP). This is not.

Soooooooooo many better dance tunes to listen to! This song has no redeeming features... Oh wait it just finished... At least it has an end....

It's a pretty scathing indictment of a song that the only redeeming feature you can find in it is the fact that it does eventually come to an end. And I'm right there with you -- the best part of the song is the second of blessed silence after it's ended.
Everyone standing at my desk be dancin'

Since when is the instrument or technology used an indicator for talent?
Since when did making music require talent? Just turn on the radio. . . I like electronic music, it's not about same type of talent as playing an instrument. It's more about the layering of sound and some of it is pretty impressive (and some monotonous). More attune to classical music IMO. BT is a more poppy, but generally good, variety. Be great to hear some Underworld outside of Hundred Days Off. Dark and Long, Cowgirl. . .good stuff.

Nothing like synthesized drums to highlight your lack of musical talent!

Trash, put it out !
Oh yeah!
In the words of De La Soul: "Put it on vibrate!"
Whatever I was going to rate this -2 for the gayest cover I have ever seen....(edit) ends up being a five, I kinda liked the song.
So, any ideas on what we ought to do?

and Thank You! ( matter of interest bowiefreak; lookin' up your ratings, 'cause I thought Diamond_Dog may have a play mate, but Bowie is not in any of your ratings, high or low?)

Go listen to the "Monster" soundtrack and then come back here and say the same thing. I dare you.
I had to check to make sure I was still listening to RP... Gawd, I just do not enjoy dance/trance type music.
Nice mix...moby's dream about me (downtempo) to BT's dreaming (uptempo). Those of us who like this kind of music appreciate!

Hmm - BT... British Telecom? Boring Techno? Really, this is one of the few tunes from this genre I can actually sit through. I'll take a real drummer any day.
Thank you :)
somebody pass the x.....
Sounds a lot like Sunscreem...anybody remember them? O3's the only album of theirs I have, but I always liked listening to it with the bass turned way up. This song's pretty good, too.
OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! OW!
Way too synthesized! Should be extinct like the dinosaurs!
hmm...Just walked back into my office and thought I heard Bacon Tomato (not to be confused with Bacon Tomato Overdrive). Great album! I\'d definitely recommend it (it actually stands for Brain Transeau). I\'ll also take a real drummer any day - I need the work! :)

BT has this great song called \"Satellite\", mesmirizing. The whole album is quite good. Great running music.
I just love this song... I heard the opening notes and I just let out a sigh of... relief? I don\'t know what it is, this song is so calming and surreal... so peaceful, so good.

As haywood says: Hurl. This is totally uninspiring and gives me a headache.
Puk
I thought it was a very good selection from a genre that isn\'t usually represented on RP. Very cool.. I (and my lab mates) were def. grooveing to BT.

I agree with many of the comments here. While I am generally not a fan of this genre of music, I always seem to like BT.

years ago? do you mean Blue Skies? i love that. his earlier stuff kicks ass. not that this is bad! i like it! BT over Moby anyday.

LOL. Not bad, I normally hate dance music, but this is listenable at best.
This is okay, but how about some electronic music from Kosheen, the song Hide U instead. And while we\'re on the subject of electronic music, let\'s hear songs from Juno Reactor and Timo Maas. :)

AMG gives a writing credit to "Tzuke", so I guess it's Judy Tzuke?

Speaking of dancing and mirror balls, this song would have fit in perfectly at the dance bar where I used to hang out. In fact, they probably played this but I wasn\'t familiar with it so it didn\'t stick in my head. :)

BT baby! Gotta love it. How about his remix of Sarah Mac\'s \"I Love You\"? Keep surprising me Bill. :)
They just installed a mirror ball at work after hearing this song!
Cool.... I want to dance!!!!!! :)
