I remember them saying in some interview that they needed a hit now to keep funding their musical adventures - sort of like Peter Gabiel and Sledgehammer. So they looked at the pop hits of the time, figured out common threads, made a formula, and then swallowed their pride and went to the studio and popped this off in 2 hours. They were right - it got noticed and they sold a bunch of records. And their true fans got alienated and they were soon mostly forgotten about.

I have to admit though, it is catchy.

This song is over twenty-five years old -  older than Bieber.  Other than this tune, Love and Rockets were pretty far from "mainstream".  T Rex "hard-edged"?  Not really, they were fantastic, but they were a glam rock band - albeit, a very good one.

Don't care whether or not the radio plays it.  I only care if it's good.  One has nothing to do with the other.

I believe this one is good, so long as it played in moderation.  I do prefer their song "All In My Mind" which Bill sometimes plays.  Do they have any other good ones?
