Gotta love every time Bill plays ethnic music, how the Sucko Barfo bar shoots up.

Imagine a bunch of country-loving rednecks covering their ears, writhing in pain, while frantically stomping the PSD button. Play some more Bill!
Almost has Gaelic flavours
Gud is God in Danish.

To date is the average only 5,8..

This is what's great about RP.  The sheer variety.

We've had it for a few years and still love it. Try her album Gold & wax, too.

l love this entire album, and her entire album Gold & Wax. Please play some songs from both albums, I'm sure your listeners will like her, too.
She's Ethiopian, and she's singing in Amharic, which linguistically is similar to Hebrew and Arabic.

Newsflash for the authors of bad puns based on a mistaken assumption about the title.
Do you understand this language? I have a far worse pun/mistake for you: In the 3th or 4th line of "Guramayle" (my other favourite from this album), I always get startled when she seems to sing what really sounds like "Butt F*ker", in the middle of a romantic melody. Quite annoying... Do you know what she really sings and means?
Another great one to add to my "favorites" list. I think I need this album.
Thanks for this... helps us all climb out of our xenophobic mindsets. Travel the world; listen to RP. :D The only problem is the wrong CD cover was displayed...
You know who's a gud fella? Johnny Damon. You know who else is a gud fella? Curt Shilling.

And in the context of a conservative traditional culture, it SMOKES.
Isn't the whole idea of pun that it's play on the fact that a word sounds like something other than what it actaully means? Thanks for the translation though, now that i know what the song is about, I still don't like it.
Thanks for a lovely song. Another amazing example of the versitility that is RP.

So very glad to see that I'm not alone here !!! Downright celestial groove here. 21 Century Saraswati with Electronic Asparas. Court musicians in a very up-to date god realm. :notworthy: :bounce: :notworthy: :bounce: :notworthy: :bounce: :notworthy:

Gud Fella, bad song!
\"Gud Fella\"? I preferred her earlier work on \"Dah Gudfahdder\"; parts I & II are amazing, while part III is merely great. Looking forward to her next album: \"Dah Suprahnoss.\"
I\'d liken it unto the sound of the cat being beaten in Monty Pythons Holy Grail. Comic but not pleasant!
Sure, this song is not mainstream taste, even here on RP, but personally I really like the harmony singing and the weird African/jazz mix. Yes, jazz. But I'm no jazz guru. Herbie Hancock & Wayne Shorter play on this album. And a certain "David Gilmore" (not Gilmour) plays guitar. :p Oh wait, apparently Gilmore is a Jazz musician too.
Nix this. It is very annoying. Thank you.
I\'ve heard this one often enough.

I was actually planning on uploading some tracks from Planet Drum as soon as the Goldsmiths get back home!

If you enjoy this one, have some one check your pulse or make sure you can still fog a mirror. :p
I you enjoy this one, you should also check out Herbie Hancock's new album future2future - Gigi appears on several tracks. plus it is Herbie's best album since Headhunters (imho, of course)!
If you like this, you should like Oumou Sangare, who has an even more beautiful voice. I\'ll send you some one of these days.
Bill, This Gigi cut is quite nice. :)
