Through the warmest cord of care
Your love was sent to me
I'm not sure what to do with it
Or where to put it

I'm so close to tear
And so close to simply calling you up
And simply suggesting

We go to that hidden place
That we go to that hidden place
We go to that hidden place
We go to a hidden place

Now, I have been slightly shy
But I can smell a pinch of hope
To almost have allowed once fingers
To stroke
The fingers I was given to touch with
But careful, careful

There lies my passion hidden
There lies my love
I'll hide it under a blanket
Lull it to sleep

I'll keep it in a hidden place
I'll keep it in a hidden place
Keep it in a hidden place
Keep it in a hidden place

He's the beautifulest
Fragilest
Still strong
Dark and divine
And the littleness of his movements
Hides himself

He invents a charm
That makes him invisible
Hides in the hair

Can I hide there too?
Hide in the hair of him
Seek solace
Sanctuary

In that hidden place
In a hidden place
In a hidden place
We'll stay in a hidden place
Oh, in a hidden place
We'll live in a hidden place
We'll be in a hidden place
In a hidden place

What a great run of tunes.... had to check to make sure the feed wasn't "Favorites"
What a delightful, angelic, whack job of a woman.  LOVE her stuff!
although not quite my style, she's absolutely unique!
Yes, she's original - Yes, she has a unique voice - Yes, I can see the art there - Still, it's like work listening to her. Not my favorite....
Only slightly less painful to endure than a kidney stone.
I can't help myself listening to her. She has the most unique vocal style out there. Completely bizarre, but likeable. Aw, heck, I can't explain it, I just like her.
Not my favorite track off Vespertine, but still worthy of a 9!
oof, I LOVE Björk!!!
A listening chore.
Like most of what Bjork does. Interesting, different. What makes it worthy of RP

LOL!

Funny that this follows Bird York. When Bill announced the Bird York song, I thought he said "beeyork" FYI, this song rocks the docks.
She is just so great.

On an almost completely unrelated note, shouldn't the plural of album actually be alba? Then again, we do speak English and not Latin...
That comment just made my night I still love this song after first hearing it here on RP 3.5 years ago.
I LOVE Björk. I think her lyrics are interesting and poetic. I think her music is original and stunning. I think her voice is artistic and expressive. Her weirdness makes her even cooler. I have many of her albums. Each one has its own style and character. On an almost completely unrelated note, shouldn't the plural of album actually be alba? Then again, we do speak English and not Latin...
I do not like this Bjork. The music is not pleasing and her voice is horrible.

that's classy, bill! going from a band called "BIrd York" to "Björk"...
I thought that was kind of cute too. :)
Arrgh
Awwwwwwwwrgh! Not HER again!!!
NOOOO...can't stand the new Yoko......must stop ear bleeding......loved The Sugarcubes - hate the Bjork

What's that guy's problem, posting two in a row. And in large type too...
Bjork rjocks!
Have a few Bjork albums, read a good piece about her in the New Yorker a couple months back. Bjork is basically weird but cool. But sometimes she 'gets up my hole', to use the vernacular of my hometown. I'm glad she makes the music she does, but I'm not always in the mood for it. For her critics here, I'd suggest giving her a chance. Small bites though, like I tell my three year old. :nodhead: That's why we listen to RP, right?. It's like eating your veggies: even if you don't like the taste sometimes - it's good for you!
Or as they say in Iceland (the country, not the frozen food shop, obviously) Það er að gera mig brjálaðan! HÊttu ßessu! It's driving me nuts! Cut it out!
Let's see. The last 3 have been: Bird York, then Bjork Now Sting....what's next? Stying? :-s
that's classy, bill! going from a band called "Bird York" to "Björk"...
...........And, teeth grinding begins.....................NNNNnnnnnnnnow!

LOL I like it! Actually, she did an interview in Spin magazine a few years back where she said very strongly that, "it rhymes with work, not pork."
Let me get this straight - like "Byerk" rhymes with "quirk"? That could get me through.
I think we need a 70's James Bond girl dancing in the background for this one.

ya me too... but it itches and burns when I go to the bathroom.
Is she singing about masturbation?

LOL I like it! Actually, she did an interview in Spin magazine a few years back where she said very strongly that, "it rhymes with work, not pork." I'm a big fan of Bjork's work although I wasn't impressed with this album. I suggest something from "Homogenic", like "Joga"... pronounced "yoga", rhymes with toga
i like it, it's not somethin you often hear, which is the point of listening to radio paradise. GOOD JOB :)
She is an artist, she is original, she is creative.... that said, I just don't get it. Maybe its my problem but this always reminds me of crap played in art colleges to audiences if 5 to 12 people who are gushing on about the genius of it all... Keep mixing stuff like this in RP, maybe some day i'll figure Bjork out... Until then I have volume control.
keep playing bjork!
(Björk crooning... Close eyes and turn volume way up!)
Totally disjointed lyrics and music. This song is a complete mess. Cleanup in Isle 5 please!

Is Bjork Swedish or something for "Puke"?
It's icelandig (and Swedish too, actually) for birch-tree. About her music: I really can't make up my mind on whether this is pure genius or just pretentious, pompous junk...
SHUTUP! SHUTUP! SHUTUP!!!!!!!!
Is Bjork Swedish or something for "Puke"?
This is a great song and interesting album. Did anyone see her on HBO "Reverb" performing this album live in NYC? Mesmerizing. All done with a music box contraption, a few laptops, a harpist, and a chorus of Icelandic ladies. She is an acquired taste. Keep on playing Bjork!
Man, what's up with all the Bjork blasting? Stuff like this is why I listen to RP! Keep it coming! One of the most innovative artists of our time. Very uninhibited, talented pop. Love it!

I used to think Bjork's music got bad after she left the Sugarcubes and went solo. The more I think about it, she's always been bad, and the sugarcubes were good in spite, not because of, her.
But she has an amazing voice... very expressive and not afraid to use it!

I don't like this song, so they can come for me while it plays!
bjork sound....
YIKES!
tell the bad man to make it stop!
byork, rhymes with spork.
Well, she certainly knows how to stir passions, doesn\'t she. I like it.
......I always thought it was pronounced 'wanker', until recently, having really enjoyed it on RP, so much so I might carve m'self a large slicde of humble pie and buy a copy!

I\'ve finally heard Bjork on RP. My happiness is complete. She single-handedly resurrected my faith in music by creating albums that are works of art and music that is actually new.

Thanks for playing this! Btw, I hate to nitpick, but Björk is pronounced more like \"Bjurk\" than \"Bjork\".
Hmmmmm. This sounds like everything else on the radio. I have no opinion. ;) Actually sounds nothing like Tom Waits, but each have a truly unique vision and talent. Sometimes they do something I like, too!
Did anybody check out Reverb when she did this song live? She had a choir of American Indian women behind her and a guy with a mic shuffling cards! It was weird, and like with most of Bjork it worked great! Thanks RP! Oh and again, if you are going to spend the time to rip on and artist then at least have the decency to EXPLAIN WHY you don\'t like them..
trippy - wouldn\'t want to hear it every day, but...
How big a donation to RP would it take to make this festering pile go away forever?
Having not heard this one in a while makes it somewhat less irritating .... but still not good.
Two thumbs up!
Liked the Sugarcubes.... like some of Bjork... this however should stay in that \"hidden place\" ;)

sorry, but BEE-york and dork rhyme as much as antler and hitler rhyme. same ending, different beginning. no rhyme though.
Bjork\'s music is truly weird and beautiful - I\'ve been listening to her since the first SugarCubes release, \"Life\'s Too Good\", and am still hooked on that unique voice, emotional openness, and musical creativity. I agree with previous comment: how about some more Bjork, especially from the first two releases. Eric
all her songs sound different! she`s one of my favorite artists...
Gives an impression of how it must be to live in Iceland, I quess?
Bjork is an amazing artist, and this song is one of her surrealistic paintings. :D
I\'m firmly in the anti-Bjork camp. Irritating voice, though I could possibly see myself starting to like the music a bit if not for that.... Well, maybe not.
YUMM YUMM YUMM!!! I love just about everything and everything from Bjork, all the way back to early Sugarcubes. she just keeps on getting better and better - this whole album is incredible. :D
UGH! Just plain awful. Could this song go away forever to that hidden place, PLEASE!
Come on Bill, play some Sugarcubes instead.
Weird - O!!!!!
Bjork rhymes with Dork ... a coincidence? I think not. Ok, maybe I\'m being a little too judgemental. I had never heard anything of hers outside of RP, and this is the only one I\'ve heard here. I just don\'t like this song. Maybe if I heard something else of hers? Please?
It\'s because of music like this that I turn up the volume. Thanks for playing Bjork!
