First I'm hearing this.  I like it.  Why are lyrics unavailable?  Seems like they are readily available:

Life is forgiving, it`s there for the taking
Won`t you grab it with both hands
Don`t let it go
Whatever your problem, it can be beaten
Won`t you keep moving forwards,
Go with the flow
Look to the future
Look and you can`t understand
Hold out your hand
Climbing the ladder, heading on upwards
And the sky is the limit
There`s no need to stop.
Firing your rockets, to light up the pathway
And there`s no easing off it `til you get to the top
Look to the future
Look, it`s so hard underground
Look to the future
Look, may your heart turn around
Underground

Thank You for the lyrics!

That repeated violin figure is somewhat annoying.

Ruined it for me. Thanks.
That repeated violin figure is somewhat annoying.
very nice!

Don't like this song much, but the harmonies are nice.

Good song, but I'm already tired of hearing it, just on RP.

How is the rest of the cd? I've never heard of this group before, but I'm liking this song.

All I've heard of this CD is here on RP. Have Hazy Daze, which is uniformly excellent. The ensemble vocal work on this album strikes me as a bit more mature, only a good thing.

I can't place it. Maybe a movie I like? Huh. Anyway, it is a lovely song. Dang, I know I know this from somewhere. The album art is a bit disturbing in a very Clive Barker kindof way.
Beautiful.
Yep they are definitely Good!
Great !!! Thanks, need to check this.
excellent!
yummy
Marvelous! Pretty good fiddle work - reminds me of the lighter side of Solas. Definately need to check this band out.
Every time I hear this son, I have to look to see who it is. Love the sound

The first song I ever heard on RP; still not tired of it, and I bought Equation CDs too, so I've heard it lots. Truly the mark of a good song.

... Beautifull! ...
Wow, really rare to hear vocal harmonies this tight.

what's the Equation? well, take 1/2 Blue Rodeo, add 1/4 Cowboy Junkies, add 1/4 ho-hum.
Better make it more like 1/2 Wailin' Jennys, 1/4 Blue Rodeo, 1/4 Cowboy Junkies. Which would, on the whole, be a better name.

Lovely, haunting song, and something about the vocals reminds me pleasantly of Fleetwood Mac. Incidentally, I haven't heard any Mac on RP. It'd be nice. :)
Odd that I scrolled back a couple of years and saw this, because my initial reaction was that this is very reminiscent of "Magnet and Steel" by Walter Egan, which came out right around the time of Fleetwood Mac's post-Rumours transcendency and had background vocals by Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks -- may have even been produced by Buckingham. Nice sound, anyway.
Nice fiddle... More Nickel Creek , please!
what's the Equation? well, take 1/2 Blue Rodeo, add 1/4 Cowboy Junkies, add 1/4 ho-hum. Not anything I can't already find in other groups that have come before them.
A waltz ! Mesmerizng good one
Wow- how is it these people are not big hits yet? Superb pick. :sunny.gif: :crown.gif:
yum!
The violin in this song is so haunting - it makes me ache... in a GOOD way! I'm definately ordering this CD!
Fantastic! Who are these guys?
(pimp)
I love it, very mellow and a feel good song
these guys are good.

This is great. Yet a new band to follow. Thanks, RP.

This song, like PaperBag, is an excellent toon. This is probably my fav on the album. Thanks to RP for turning me on to them.

The Lucky Few.... of which I will be one, if more of their music sounds this good. I never heard of them before RP either. Great sound.
Excellent group.
