Fallin' and spinnin'
Losin' and winnin'
Keepin' my head

Watchin' for signals
Wearisome vigil
Was I misled
I remember you said that you
Don't want to forget me
It doesn't matter
Which of our fantasies fled

Every tomorrow
Lookin' to borrow
A piece of today

Run a bit faster
Here comes the catcher
Makin' his play
You had better not stay
You will soon be surrounded
It doesn't matter
Which of our fantasies fled

Lonely and winsome
Calling for someone
Living right now

Something is shallow
Ugly and hollow
Doesn't even allow
You to want to know how you might
Live for the living and
Give for the giving. Living
Moment by moment
One day at a time
It doesn't matter
It's nothin' but dreamin' any how

Good Tune!!
An excellent song that I have not heard in a while.  Now maybe something from Souther Hillman Furey (sp) ?  Another excellent album.
one of my favorite albums.  Haven't heard this track in some time.
Wow, haven't heard this in years - Thx Bill!
a rick Roberts song slight variation from his version in firefall / great stuff and stills at his best
this piece changed my whole perspective when I first heard it way back when, and to this day when RP springs it on me, I am back there again and loving every moment of their skill and beauty

Not clear how I missed this back when it was released. Probably too much good music being produced then. Sure, there are more folks recording now, but so much is in some way derived from such as this. Of course this has always been the case, but more so now. Very good music.
Joy!

thank you, I follow your advice
Good stuff right here.
One of SS best for sure. I think Rick Roberts and Firefall did a cover of this too.
My old band did this one; one of my very favorites--although we were a bit shy on the vocals. It was Chris Hillman who took up the vocal slack in this band.
thanks
Played twice in one year.  Wow

Awesome! My fellow beer, bong, and tripping mate Mark B. had this LP in his collection, and played it often, back there in EE school!
Cool

Way cool piece of days long gone by, and this lightens up my present Thank you!
