Jeez: This is terrible . . . and a terrible rip-off of "Forever Man". Gag.
Crusanbits: Exactly. It's "Forever Man" with different lyrics. Soooo right on. Thought it was just me. Not bad, just one of those Hey Wait a Minute moments. . . Which came first?
much better than recent clapton! give us more. nice keyboards....
i think it's a convergence of many amplified music styles. if you found the point in space where rock, country, jazz, blues, maybe many other styles converged, this song might be there. :-k
Hmm....one more than hears the Clapton similarities. Really kickin' beat....and the lyrics are telling a story!

Count me as another person who thought this sounded like Clapton. Aside from that it's a pretty nice tune with some fine guitar.
Also thought it was EC. That is some freakin' great keyboard work!

Heh had to click over to say this was a Clapton song I had never heard - doh!
Good one! Har. But Clapton hasn't put out anything this compelling in years. I also like this.

It actually reminds me a little of a band from the early 90s called Allgood. Less guitar here, but vocals and style are similar.

Tom Hall isn't the same Tom T Hall that did the Country stuff. This song is good and I do hear the Clapton influence.
I also heard Clapton initially in this tune. The artists name made me think of Tom T. Hall, but I didn't believe it was the same person. As the song played on I could also hear the John Hiatt comparison. the_jake definitely likes this one.........

Not bad...sounds a bit like 'August'-era Clapton...
Exactly. It's "Forever Man" with different lyrics.
only about ten seconds into it, and i'm already seriously digginit. great stuff.
at first i thought this was clapton - it's not
Oh my. I think I gotta buy this one. As said earlier, a very nice groove.

Admirable that someone wants to sound just like John Hiatt.
Yep. And some Dave Matthews too, only good.

Good songwriting, and a driving band behind him.
Nice groove
