You'd better believe I'm coming
You'd better believe what I say
You'd better hold on to your promises
Because you bet you'll get what you deserve.

She's going to leave him over
She's going take her love away
So much for your eternal vows, well
It does not matter anyway.

Why can't you stay
Here a while
Stay here awhile
Stay with me.

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
All the promises we made
Promises we made
All the meaningless and empty words I broke
Broke broooke

Oh oh oh oh oh
All the promises we broke
Promises we broke
All the meaningless and empty words I spoke
Spoke spooooke

What of all the things that you taught me
What of all the things that you'd say
What of all your prophetic preaching
You're just throwing it all away

Maybe we should burn the house down
Have ourselves another fight
Leave the cobwebs in the closet
'Cause tearing them out is just not right

Why can't you stay
Here awhile
Stay here awhile
Stay with me

Oh oh oh oh oh
All the promises we made
Promises we made
All the meaningless and empty words I prayed
Prayed praaaayed

Oh oh oh oh oh
All the promises we broke
Promises we broke
All the meaningless and empty words I spoke
Spoke Spooooke

Oh oh oh oh oh
All the promises we made
Promises we made
All the meaningless and empty words I prayed
Prayed praaaayed

Oh oh oh oh oh
All the promises we broke
Promises we broke
All the meaningless and empty words I spoke
Spoke Spooooke

Oh hey oh hey oh hey ...

Rocks every time.
This may be the first time that I've heard any cuts from this album!  I've always enjoyed the sound of the Cranberries and this song is quite good.  It's saddens me when I hear the first notes of most of their songs and Delores' voice now that she is gone.  But the music persists after she is gone and always will.  It's a great impact that hopefully will remain for further generations to enjoy.
After reading posts, I just felt it necessary to say....those that criticize, whine and, complain, clearly have no respect for the deceased. Makes one wonder what they would say/do, if a family member passed, and a lot of people said the same kind of disrespectful things. May God forgive them for being so heartless.
voce molto bella con passaggi tipici di precedente successo - buon ritmo - concludendo molto bella e piacevole all'ascolto
Having only ever heard the two big hits, Linger and Zombie, I'm glad Bill and/or Rebecca likes the Cranberries, because the other tracks I've heard on here have been pretty good, to my ears.
just been in a cranberry farm today in Cape Cod, this is the right song tonight :)

Where is Annoying? Is that a town or a city in UK?

I rated this 8 too

Her voice here wasn't in the top form, I'm afraid, but good song regardless.

Missed for sure... <3
it's  song of my  youth

Quite like this!
Pretty ho-hum. Sounds like late-career Blue Oyster Cult with a female lead

Completely agree with you. Delores' voice is far more palatable in smaller doses. Florence has far more longevity to me. That being said...I love the energy of this and much prefer this track than the usual 'Zombie'.

her voice makes me want to chew aluminum foil...

Happily listening to RP while working on a Sunday.   Had to hit the mute button for this song.   And I think that says it all...

Don't you know what PSD button means?

The Florence Welch of the 90's.
Nice to hear something other than their "zombie" hit. It's good to be reminded that their career is not limited to this one hit and that they actually have done better :)
Love THE Cranberries.....most of all LINGER

No thank you. Like them but this is a very poor track
mmmmm.....blueberries!  Ooops sorry.
This has as many "10" votes as it has "1" votes (14 at this moment).
Agree with a number of others.  Like them overall, this not so much.  Not sure why maybe bad production or balance.

I’d normally have said that you’d be hard pressed to play a bad Cranberries song but sorry to say its been managed with this selection.

Dang, I sorta halfta agree

Couldn't quite understand why so many liked this lot. After the last few agonising minutes, I am still mystified. Simply Dreadful
Even if I prefer her voice to Shakira's one (which actually doesn't exist), make her mute, pleeeeease!  {#Frustrated}
Great song.  Irritating voice, for me.  I still prefer this to all their other material, though.  Thanks RP.
They have much better songs than this
headache in a can,,,,,don't open it
Aweful. Please stop her stupid yelping. Go back to the 90s and stay there.
Decent band, but more importantly, I love this album cover. Another great creation by Storm Thorgerson.  RIP Storm.
Oh eh, oh eh, oh eh, oh eh, oh eh ... I don't think so.

It has been years; one to keep on high rotation for a while Bill.
...Play it more!! Please!! {#Drummer}
