When you were here before
Couldn't look you in the eye
You're just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry

You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
You're so fuckin' special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here

I don't care if it hurts
I wanna have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul

I want you to notice
When I'm not around
You're so fuckin' special
I wish I was special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here
Oh, oh

She's running out the door
She's running out
She run, run, run, run
Run

Whatever makes you happy
Whatever you want
You're so fuckin' special
I wish I was special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here

I don't belong here

Radiohead have revealed little details about the new album to be released in 2006. I have written a couple of articles, including an mp3 of "Arpeggi" and video link for "House of Cards." (click here) (click here)
I have patience for a lot of things, but pleeeeeez. Whatever else Radiohead has done, this one is histrionic artsy fartsy folk music masquerading as important statement. Give me Janis Ian over this anyday.
I actually like this version much better than the original. I didn\'t like the original when it first came out, and the as the local radio station has been playing it just about daily for five years, I really can\'t stand it now. However, the acoustic version takes out (by definition) all of the over-production of the original, and you end up with a decent tune. Another example is Wicked Garden by STP. The studio version is awful, but the acoustic is surprisingly good.
I don\'t \"get\" them, or this song, either. Blecch.
Ya know, no matter how much of their stuff I listen to, I just don\'t \"get\" Radiohead. I know they\'re revered by a good number of rock critics and their stuff is considered \"important\", but I\'m afraid their stuff just doesn\'t do anything for me. Especially this song.
I just love this song, but this version is dissapointing.
This is one of those songs that \"either you get it or you don\'t\", which I think the comments reflect. I wish I was special.

Yeah! You're right. There are so much sh*t variety in this world.
Adult rated excellence  :notworthy:
unadulterated crap!

you guys are crazy! this is an incredible song.. yes, this version and the original..
Embarrassing. I think too many compliments and people idolyze him, made him think HE\'s so f**king special. Well, at least, way to reckless. It\'s what\'s left when you take all the noise and reverb away.
It\'s so bad, I had to turn the volume WAY down!
Upper register vocals SUCK on this one. Maybe he had a sore throat or didn\'t get enough rest. The rest of the song is okay though.
Word up to that Videll!
Overall, not a bad version of this song...Radiohead just kept getting better & better after this. These guys are so important for music these days. Even if you don\'t like Kid A & Amnisiac (and I can respect those who don\'t), you have to give them credit for trying to push the envelope AND that is important. Please keep the radiohead in heavy rotation.
It\'s always great to listen to any Radiohead song!
Not very \"special\" - though I still like the original. This version seems to drone.
I love this song, but the acoustic version is awkward, especially when he really starts belting it out.
i think this version is stunning in its simplicity. it highlights the powerful lyrics of the song, which i never noticed when it was a radio hit & all i waited for was the amazing \"engine cranking\" guitar jabs before the chorus. that being said, the album version is even better ;) -clay
What they all said.
Interesting take on a most excellent song, but I agree--play the original (, too).
