I use love like fuel
The pain it drives my engine
It's a source without renewal
Without environmental protection

I said I'll strip mine into your heart
I drill deep and sap you dry
Break you down and sell the parts
For what money just can't buy

Because I use love like fuel
The pain it drives my engine
I use love like fuel
I use love like fuel

I need to feel rejection
To feel anything at all
It grants me worldwide connection
With all things great and small

The anguish gives me vision
I can't say how long it lasts
But the more I have collisions
The more I want to drive fast

Because I use love like fuel
The pain it drives my engine
I use love like fuel
I use love like fuel

Send me up for murder
And I'd feel like I was free
Because I never wanted to hurt her
But it came so easily

Unaware of what I'm taking
I can effortlessly crush
It's only when our hearts are breaking
That I'm nourished by the rush

'Cause I use love like fuel
The pain it drives my engine
I use love like fuel
I use love like fuel
Oooh love like fuel
I use love like fuel

Aaah. I'm gonna have to 'borrow' that phrase! Glad to hear this. BT has some better cuts, but this works too. -ptah
Sounds good loud. Sounds better louder. My computer goes to 11.
This is horrible. Cheesy lyrics. Subpar music. Pure torture much like BT\'s music.

Sigh...some people will never get it. Thanks for playing RP! Great tune! Popper and Blues Traveler jam!

Best song I hear here!
I often wondered why Blues Traveler and John Popper were popular... figured it was just me \"not getting it\" When I heard this song playing here on RP I figured... well, let\'s see what others have to say about this guy. I\'m glad I did - seems I\'m not the only one \"not getting it\". But it still leaves me with the same mystery, why does this music continue to get airplay ? It doesn\'t suck... it\'s just not very inspired or special... It\'s more the kind of music you tune out till the next song on the playlist comes along. my 2c...
Boy, I\'m there as well. Blues Traveller is a bunch of amazingly talented people, and John Popper can be a great singer on occasion, but when they get out of the \'groove\' and just start whaling away making noise, it gets lost. Popper is so full of himself, the song falls apart unless someone keeps a tight reign on him. The harmonica solo in the middle of this song destroys it. John, get a decent producer to beat the bejeezus out of you when you get off the score.

Wow. RP is in love w/ Popper. I think he's pretty ho-hum, despite his amazing harmonica work. I'd like to hear more diversity: i.e. less popper/blues traveller.
