This song REQUIRES some enormous bass drivers....
I was at an 80's club night recently, and this song came on and the place went crazy. The club was full of twentysomethings who were not even born when it was released. Of all the songs they played, this one has staying power, 30 years later. Good job, New Order, you made a classic.
They influenced and inspired so many, with wild electronica, even more wildly imaginative percussion, and futuristic vocal stylings!

Thought this was "dead or alive - you spin me round" when hearing the intro. That song is obviously a clear rip of this - being released 2 years later.

I've only come to realise quite recently that club DJs would turn up the bass on the start because it just doesn't sound the same on every mix I've heard since.
11 times in the last 30 days in the rock mix? I wouldn't think that this even belongs in the rock mix at all...
