Wow... um, this is not the version off of Octaroon. That version is quite a bit better--it's a very simple arrangement: just Laura and a bass. Works much better than this, which feels over-produced, and nearly like some elevator version of the song. If it's at all possible, please try to get the other version in place of this one. I don't typically like Nirvana covers (I'd rather have a root cannal than hear the Sinead O'Conner and Tori Amos covers in the library here), but this is MUCH better (but still, only about a 4 or 5). For all of his songwriting prowess, I've not heard much of Kurt's stuff sound good performed by others (well, except for Courtney on Live Through This ;) ).

I don't think Kurt was a vocal god, but this gal's country twang voice over a lyrically challenged song (merely my opinion here) triggered by gag reflex. :-&
