Sounds a little like some bad U2 extended plays, especially when the singer stops wetting the mike. However, they have a way to go to sustain comparison with U2. Absolutely no finesse in their play if you compare to U2. Better choose a less present drummer. He is with the singer the most ruining element of this ersatz bandage.

Had the opportunity to catch these guys once and man, what a rythm section! Really good drummer who kept the rest of the band powered thru the evening. These guys are alright in my book.

The Moj liketh! Great intro Maybe I like this song because I "discovered" FJB many years ago and I feel a personal connection with them. In defense of this song I will say that the studio version is much less U2ish. Personally, I think the best work from 'Edge" was when did this kind of thing. Sure, he did it better, but it's a style I like, even when done nearly as well. Now that I type this, I have to admit I forgot how long this song runs on, but by golly I stick by my "Moj liketh" statement!!

Can't stand extended jams on the radio. They just don't have the same effect when you can't see the musicians doing it. Then again, even if I COULD see them, I probably still wouldn't like this.

This sounds nothing like U2. The guitarist occaisonally strums really fast like the Edge, but nothing about else about their sound or style makes me think of U2. This is a jam band, and like all jam bands they have absolutely no melody, relying instead on the "ambiance" (provided by marijuana) of their live concerts.

Ugh. I hate to post twice on this song, but FJB has much better live cuts, and to state again, the studio version of this tune blows the live version away. Even when I saw them live in the early 90s they kicked this version's head. Then again, alcohol & reverb could have played a part in my enjoyment.

The only two chords with any merit in this song - ( Intro riff carried on ad nauseam) are ripped straight from Pete Townshends Pinball Wizard. Can't see why anyone would want to keep this on the playlist. Please 'take the time' to banish this dross.

Wow, gotta go back over 2 years for this comment... Bill, seriously, PLEASE abandon this live cut and play the studio version instead. If you don't have it, I'll send it forthwith. This is one of those rare occasions where the live track actually detracts from what was done in the studio. It literally sounds like someone's dying on stage in this recording. I met the lead singer of this band when they played at my university. I asked him why he didn't play their best song on the album "Daydream", and he was a real ass in his response. I'm sort of happy they never hit it big, because they aren't actually breaking any new ground here. Plus, he's an ass.

I\'m not too sure \'bout the songs I heard so far, but what a powerful, good rocking band this is! Their name isn\'t that hip and a bit confusing, \'cause you expect a country band, with a family member of George Jones. Oh, and you can\'t just play rockmusic without being influenced by bands like the Who (to start with) and U2, I think. Recently I heard an American cover band, who where blowing the originals away with their renditions. They could not only play like hell, but all had a great voice as well, including the drummer. They could play any possible (pop)style it seemed. If only such a band had the right material of their own, I\'m sure they would be really big. There are of course more examples of that.
