The most overplayed song on RP. I'm convinced Fogarty gets the airtime since he has incriminating photos linking Bill and Rebecca to criminal activity.

Fantasy records got bought out a while back. Which is good news for Fogerty since they owned his catalog and the shitty recording agreement that he signed in the 60's. This is the same bunch that sued him.
   The new owners of the record label are voiding the old contract now so Fogerty is now collecting some hansome royalities from his catalog. So I hope he's going to buy that big house and yacht that he missed out on.
 I've read some books about him and 60 minutes did a piece on him and at the time he sure was not that wealthy and still pissed, he had just released "Blue Moon Swamp" CD at the time.  ( =

Well, the point could be that TF got thoroughly scammed by his mgmt and never made the kind of royalties from anything he penned for CCR that he should have. I really like old CCR. Fogerty solo never did it for me. The fact that songs like this one were way overplayed on classic rock stations may have a lot to do with my being so tired of it. Those of you who think this is wonderful and reminds you of jamming around the house when you were a kid (which tells me your too young to remember much of CCR) should go re-discover the old CCR stuff.

ohman I used ot jam out to this song as a kid to my parent's stereo, with no clue what it all meant, and didn't care sometimes, it was about loud rock, a small bonfire, and kids getting to staying up late dancing barefoot in the back yard
