I got a feelin' way down inside
I can't shake it, no matter how I try
You can't touch it, you just know
The earth is gonna shake and the wind is gonna blow
Well that's all right
This premonition is killin' me
But that's all right
I must be crazy, I must be seein' things

Out on the highway pickin' up clues
So much is mis-seen , so much to lose

You must be different, been rearranged
Can't pin it down but I know it's not the same
Well that's all right
This premonition is killin' me
But that's all right
I must be crazy, I must be seein' things
(Hit me!)

I can't eat, I can't sleep
All of a sudden I got witches in my feet
It's like waitin' for, the shoe to drop
I know it's comin' but I don't know where to stop
Well that's all right
This premonition is killin' me
But it's all right
I must be crazy, I must be seein' things

Well that's all right
This premonition is killin' me
But it's all right
I must be crazy, I must be seein' things

This song kind of reminds me of a specific formative period of my life which was my teenage years - a time when I spent a considerable amount of my weekends going to gigs where music like this was being played.

At about the same period the ~17 year old me would start to dabble in alcohol drinking, weed smoking, and developing a fondness to a certain type of ladies who were there as well - often times quite older than me, just waiting for a naïve young soul like me; often sporting a cheap perfume with strong yet strangely charming aroma as well as copious amounts of hairspray, that was perfectly combined with the smell of tobacco and sweat...

Anyway, as fond as those memories are now (and some of them a lil' bit traumatic, to be perfectly honest), I'm glad I have a daughter with a woman who is a polar opposite of that type of person, even though the three of us enjoy not only listening to this kind of music but also playing and singing it together.

I know this is a tangent, but I guess that's the power of music - where some mediocre song/artist can take one back to a time of their lives where they had little to no idea about anything and yet here they are after all that time

part of the tune and lyric at the "well that's aaaaaalright" sounds like a blatant stones ripoff circa jumpin jack flash. but that's MHO. insipid is a good word to describe his music, leslie.

Get a clue you fool.
Let's rock!
Decent song but does not sound like the Fogerty I am used to hearing.
Makes me wanna dig up and jam another Les Paul mauler, Neil Young.  Can't deny that ol' Johnny can jam that thang pretty good y'all.
I\'m inclined to give Mr. Fogerty the benefit of the doubt, with relation to ripping off the Stones, \'cause I think he doesn\'t need that. Coincidence, rather. Anyway I\'ve heard him do a lot better than this, but that\'s hardly surprising when it concerns someone with such a back cataloque.
John Fogerty has written some really insipid songs in the recent past, IMHO, but this is much better,
