Is it so hard to satisfy your senses
You found out to love me you have to climb some fences
Scratching and crawling along the floor to touch you
And just when it feels right you say you found someone else to hold you
Does she like i do

Tell me does she love you like the way I love you
Does she stimulate you attract and captivate you
Tell me does she miss you existing just to kiss you
Like the way I do
Tell me does she want you infatuate and haunt you
Does she know just how to shock and electrify and rock you
Does she inject you seduce you and affect you
Like the way I do

Can I survive all the implications
Even if I tried could you be less than an addiction
Don't you think I know there's so many others
Who would beg steal and lie fight kill and die
Just to hold you hold you like I do

Tell me does she love you like the way I love you
Does she stimulate you attract and captivate you
Tell me does she miss you existing just to kiss you
Like the way I do
Tell me does she want you infatuate and haunt you
Does she know just how to shock and electrify and rock you
Does she inject you seduce you and affect you
Like the way I do

Nobody loves you like the way I do
Nobody wants you like the way I do
Nobody needs you like the way I do
Nobody aches nobody aches just to hold you
Like the way I do

Tell me does she love you like the way I love you
Does she stimulate you attract and captivate you
Tell me does she miss you existing just to kiss you
Like the way I do
Tell me does she want you infatuate and haunt you
Does she know just how to shock and electrify and rock you
Does she inject you seduce you and affect you
Like the way I do

I just wanted to go to bed. Then this comes on.
Damn you RP!!
God how I loved this album! Haven't heard this song in decades. Thanks for playing it!

Sorry, sorry. Have always unliked the line "Electrified and rock you"

I mean, seriously -- if you get electrified, you not gonna get rocked after. Electrified and rocked is liked: "slashed throat" and "kicked in the balls". Which are you going to address?

I know, too much thinking. But -- just write songs that make sense to us, some of us, some of the time; regardless.

Maybe get a dictionary and look up "electrified" and then "electrocuted"?
Brings back great flashes from the 90s. Powerful song!
Great jamming on the guitar and bass. It's raw!
Love it

Great Album - like Elton - never needed to come out - we all knew it already  :)

Knowing, understanding, respecting, learning, accepting...
Thank you bill for playing this American treasure
One of the best concerts at the Dillon CO Amphitheatre this season - She rocked the house!!!!

Big parties on this song...,once, long ago 😂
Wow, there's great passion in this song. The bass part is also really well done. Wicked.
Listened to this album generously through the latter half of middle school and somehow it resonated with me even though I knew nothing of love, sex, and heartbreak. I know the words to every song on this album and the next, still over 30 years later.
More goosebumps!
Wow, I used to love Melissa Etheridge. I was sure I had this CD but searching my library, not there. Oh well, might have been on cassette (remember those?), nice callback to the past. Definitely a talented woman with a distinctive voice, and the bass player (Kevin McCormick I just learned) is awesome!
I guess I understand the anger but I listen to songs to feel good, or at
least not to feel bad or angry. Obviously most don't agree with me.
She has that Bonnie Tyler gravel voice.
Guano Apes ?
Blast from the past. I'm digging into my collection for this. Loved all  of ME despite the permanent angst. Thanks for the reminder RP. Love you guys.
Intense.
Jagged Little Pill before Jagged Little Pill?
Great Album - like Elton - never needed to come out - we all knew it already  :)
