"There was no mistaking the awesome implications of the chaplain's revelation: it was either an insight of divine origin or a hallucination; he was either blessed or losing his mind. Both prospects filled him with equal fear and depression. It was neither déjà vu, presque vu nor jamais vu. It was possible that there were other vus of which he had never heard and that one of these other vus would explain succinctly the baffling phenomenon of which he had been both a witness and a part; it was even possible that none of what he thought had taken place, really had taken place, that he was dealing with an aberration of memory rather than of perception, that he never really had thought he had seen what he now thought he once did think he had seen, that his impression now that he once had thought so was merely the illusion of and illusion, and that he was only now imagining  that he had ever once imagined seeing a naked man sitting in a tree at the cemetery."

Amen.

is that from 'Catch-22' perchance?

Hmm. "Déjà" means "already," as in "déjà vu" ("already seen").

Just what do you mean here?

Right.... when's Bill going to play some Bartholomew & Sylvester?
Lots of monks with cowbells lately. All of them clones. Day By Day effect?

This is a BS post, if I ever saw one!

Kathryn Williams is singing the vocals. I like the combo of the breathy lyrics & "world-sound."
you know what this song needs? chanting monks.
This song reminds me so much of another but I just can't put my finger on it. It's driving me crazy. Something about "the night" and the chick sort of shouts the words at the end..... OK it only took me twenty minutes of concentrated effort to find it, but you know how you can't let something go... Kate Bush, Aerial. That's what it reminds me of. That's all I wanted to say.
Need to leave the office in order to purchase that nice album right now!
i'll have the saketini. strictly, for the lounge.

There's no there there.
I definetly recommend listening to the album Signs.
Sounds like a poor Sade imitation!
Well some folk think this is "ditto" or "boring", but I like it. It's still a very decent track.
