I used to go to a club in Houston called Numbers. I assume it's still there. On Friday's they played 80's alternative and goth, and kids in black would dance meaningfully to Siouxsie and the Banshees and carry everything they owned in huge dramatic purses. They wore too much make-up and wrote bad poetry. They seemed genuinely unaware of how silly they were.  And even they would hate this song.
