Flowers bloom and there is day and wind and trees and tides
Yet across the sea men know not why they have died..
Still love remains, in some strong heart, keep your mind open

War is fought with men like chess no consequence of lives
And the only sound that's heard is that of weeping wives
Still love remains, in some strong heart, keep your mind open

Flowers bloom and there is day and wind and trees and tides
Yet across the sea men know not why they have died
Still love remains, in some strong heart, keep your mind open

Keep your mind open

The title track "Beacon from Mars" is much better.  This one ("Keep Your Mind Open") hasn't improved with the years.

It does!   That guy next to his right is David Lindley, I believe.

Whenever someone (esp. you Fred) writes, "I'll get me coat..." I think of this:

Hand me down my walkin' cane
Hand me down my hat
Hurry now and don't be late
'Cause we ain't got time to chat
You and me were goin' out
To catch the latest sound
Guranteed to blow your mind
So high you won't come down Hey, y'all prepare yourself
For the Rubberband man
You never heard a sound
Like the rubberband man
You're bound to lose control
When the Rubberband starts to jam

Play it again Bill !

wow that was great to hear on RP!

Wow, very cool Bill!  I just saw David play solo at the Soiled Dove Underground here in Denver last month and got to meet him.  Not only is he a guitar virtuoso, he's pretty darn funny, too!

Thanks again for the great tunes.
Looks/sounds like a Monty Python / Spinal Tap parody (but I do like David Lindley).

Spinal Tap

Beacon from Mars.... Now that's FAR Out!
Every time I hear a sitar I think of Spinal Tap.

"... but not so open that your brain falls out".

Cool! I haven't heard this in ages! I have a white label promo LP of this that was given to me back in the day :)
