Baby, let me be
Your lovin' teddy bear
Put a chain around my neck
And lead me anywhere

Oh, let me be (oh, let him be)
Your teddy bear

I don't wanna be a tiger
'Cause tigers play too rough
I don't wanna be a lion
'Cause lions ain't the kind you love enough

I just wanna be
Your teddy bear
Put a chain around my neck
And lead me anywhere

Oh, let me be (oh, let him be)
Your teddy bear

Baby, let me be
Around you every night
Run your fingers through my hair
And cuddle me real tight

Oh, let me be (oh, let him be)
Your teddy bear

I don't wanna be a tiger
'Cause tigers play too rough
I don't wanna be a lion
'Cause lions ain't the kind you love enough

Just wanna be
Your teddy bear
Put a chain around my neck
And lead me anywhere

Oh, let me be (oh, let him be)
Your teddy bear
Oh, let me be (oh, let him be
Your teddy bear)
I just wanna be your teddy bear

Elvis-related quotes from Paul Simon:

-Once I went all over N.Y. looking for a lavender shirt like the one he wore on one of his albums.

-I had picked up the guitar because I wanted to be like Elvis Presley.

-I felt wonderful when he sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water", even though it was a touch on the dramatic side, but so was the song.

Awesome!{#Clap}
Hey, it is one of the 3 or 4 Elvis songs I like!{#Dancingbanana}He was alright for a white boy, but he is no Chuck Berry, the true King of Rock and Roll.{#No}

4 tries at a flat joke Romeo.

Just let it lie.
I dunno...  For all that Elvis represented and represents for those who grew up with this, the sound is much too 50s shlock for me. Especially the background chorus. You can't please everyone and I have stopped pretending that I like Elvis. Sorry

Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 - August 16, 1977)

He'll always be everyone's Teddy Bear. Well, maybe not—there were times he wasn't quite lovable or musically pleasing—but this is a great song.

Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Buddy Holly (1956):

Much credit for this goes to this man:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Porter_(sound_engineer)

(Porter also did all the old Roy Orbison hits, as well as many others.)

Getting consistently good results wasn't easy in those days, and before it went on to the mastering lab, all of Porter's stuff had amazing sound quality (and some of it is now being properly re-mastered).

...Just thought I'd give the man his props.

Good Golly Miss Molly!  Did someone just say:  "I'm goin' to Graceland"?  {#Smile}

One viewing of Jailhouse Rock and I was a fan for life. Sex on a stick.

Hmmm. Not bad. With a bit of polish, a half-decent stage presence and some good management, this guy could have a promising future.
too bad, then.
this always reminds me of the series SPACED

Ah yes, but not to worry, Parker and that scum bag pill pusher doctor are both doing some serious time WAY down South where it's hot and there ain't no ice chiller blowing on the Loge seats up in the White part of the Balcony. See, I believe in a really terrible kind of Hell for suits like Parker, et al. Yep, they be burning.
The grilled Peanut butter sandwiches didn't help either

This guy's good, he has a bright future ahead of him!

Maybe its a generational thing, but there is absolutely nothing about Elvis that is even remotely impressive.
Let's face the truthful facts folks. If you do not like Elvis Presley's early material (like this example) you do not have any appreciation of popular music, or alone the eclectic collection of music that this station provides.
Hearing this come around again I had a flashback to 1960 (I think) and I took my lovely April (of the Red Hair and million Angel Kisses Freckles) to see Elvis in concert. My old 1950 Kaiser Traveller sedan with the Continental Red Seal straight six engine and three-on-the-tree gear shift. Afterwards, sitting in the car with April next to me, I licked her tears from her face and gently hugged her .. knowing full well that her closed eyes were seeing Elvis. But that was OK with me, I loved her and she loved me and everything was just all right.
I never really liked Elvis...Hmmm, can't imagine why.
I know it really is apples and oranges but sometimes I teeter on the Elvis Vs. Beatles debate. He is truly King.

Amusing, because it is so campy. I like Elvis at times, but this one is more for humor than musical appreciation.

Definitely one of my very least favorite Elvis tunes. This is Elvis when RCA (and Tom Parker) got a hold of him and started to clean him up and make him bland. The "hillbilly cat" was gone forever. The few times that Elvis took a stand against Colonel Tom (i.e. the '68 Comeback and the great From Elvis in Memphis album in '69) he made some really outstanding music--but unfortunately it was few and far between.

cute song ... don't be cruel
A pleasant surprise to hear some old Elvis!
..don't be cruel with different lyrics?..
While I appreciate Elvis (and his body of work) for what it is - revolutionary - I DO NOT like this song.
This is garbage.
Oh, ... it's that other Elvis
Quite a good song for it's time!!
Paul Simon's Graceland right into Elvis...only on RP.
