C'mon get some Alice on the air, Check out Only Women Bleed, his coolest song in my opinion.

What you don't like Little Richard, The Beatles, The Who, etc. etc. etc.
to LA ... First of all let's keep this discussion in perspective ... I mean, I enjoyed AC back then but don't consider them one of the top bands or anything ... 'Billion D. B's', to my tastes, was WAY over produced. Obviously this was a product of the bands commercial success. What I liked about the bands 2 albums prior was the simplicity and rawnness of their sound, i.e., great guitar work, drumming and overall sound. I never thought of Alice as anything but the singer ... and he DID fit in with their overall 'thing'. As far as 'Sick Things' ... it was written by Bruce and the albums producer ... I think it's worth noting, if you're going to analyze the bands overall musical abilities, that Alice was just the singer ... in a band of good musicians who wrote the songs for him to sing.
This particular song wasn't THAT good but ... 'Love it to Death' and 'Killer' were the only albums that I ever really liked (& I did). Bruce and Dunaway (guitar & bass) were writing the songs at that time. Both of these albums showed the true musicianship abilities of the band. And remember that this was before the band had done much touring so the commercialism of Alice's stage show didn't have much effect on the music. These two albums gave AC a legitimate place in Rock & Roll. Plus .... the Killer album had a calendar attached on the inside. Our band used it to keep tract of the different 'things' we injested that year. I still have that calendar .... and it makes for some interesting remembering !*!*! :D ...
