This song is comes from an amazing creative album. It’s an audiophile’s dream. I do understand the low rates because you really need to hear the album from start to finish. The album grows on you, song by song. Listening to this song on its own is a bit too much. It the seventh song on the album and it’s my favorite. Give the album a listen with some good speakers or headphones.
Totally agree about the album - it is really very good and it really grows. Someone mentions lack of groove - well they should listen to the track Nervous Tics, the stand out track. But a really rich album listen. Talented guys - and they must be if Khruangbin are getting involved.
Good stuff. As far as my listening experience on RP, Khruangbin have a Midas touch. Everything they touch (this collab, Vieux Farka Touré, maybe missing more) turns to listening gold. Keep 'em coming.
Khruangbin is my favorite band. And their collab with Leon Bridges is just fabulous, I recommend checking out "Texas Sun" and "Texas Moon", if you haven't already.
Please don't play that again. Ever.
Some songs just shouldn't be here BUT I guess that's part of the fun for RP! I'll skip this one.
Huh! And I was thinking just the opposite. And yep, RP listeners win.
Pretty good, but could really do without the silly little "techno bug" in the tune..?!
Kinda like the bug myself, must have been a pocket of helium somewhere :)
Not what I usually listen to, but pretty groovy to my ears.
Edit, quite agree with the "instrumentalesque" in the lyrics section :>
Not a fan of this at all, but that's why I am here. Long live RP.
Second that.
Need to listen again when not at work :)
