Reminds me of Coldplay without the vocals.
Reminds me of DeVotchKa.  That's a good thing.

I said pretty much the same thing and then noticed I had already rated this an 8...

These guys have 26 albums?  Wow.  And this is the first I've heard of them, but I really like it.

That is why we come here.

Mr. Ennio Moricone would have lift an eyebrow for that.

Good song..even with that section that sounds like "Basketball Jones"
This bands music inspires a "comfortable desolation"...

Waiting for a video of Tarantino directing Eastwood in the Good, the Bad and the Basterds.

Too funny! I agree!  ...I have a General Class Amateur Radio License!
The instruments are so squeaky

Thank you RP for introducing me to this band, I truly am blown away by their catalog!
I'd listen to 100 tracks of this nature over another play of some 40 year old jam band "nostaglia"...
Real good!! Another band that I had never heard of before, prior to RP.  That is why we come here.   THANX RP!
I do like this. Rousing. Exciting.
To me it sounds like the French electronic artists AIR.
Is AIR short for All India Radio?

Possibly the most over-used chord progression in popular music.  If you're going to do instrumental music, at least try to be a little original.

So you also play something do you? Something original?
For those of us with melancholy personality,  we understand that this is not depressive or sad, it is introspective.

Oh man, was just going to say the same thing. Funny the song is called "The Original". More like, "The Most Hackneyed Over-Done Chord Progression Of All Time"...

dayummm.... now thats a good song...
From Wikipedia article:  "The resulting narcotic musical textures are capable of floating listeners to galaxies far, far away."
Amen to that!
4 chords and the truth.
What Wired said in the Wiki to this
This seems to have  Dangermouse undertones to it.
Been a fan of All India Radio since I first heard the band here on RP.

From wiki:  They have been compared to Mogwai and Boards of Canada.

Boards of Canada I know.   Suppose I should look or is that listen into Mogwai.
chillig :)
Does Lee Van Cleef hum this after a fat smoke?
Kinda Calexico-ish, in a good way.
Namaste from the Internet
Australian band? interesting
It stopped what I was doing. That's always worth an 8 to start with.
Sounds like Dylan's One More Cup of Coffee.
an 8 straight out of the box. deliberating calming highly enjoyable in a quiet way
cool baby cool
