A fountain of love
The beginning of a touch
Safe in the eye of a storm
As your mind leaves the house

Morning is breaking up
Your body's stirred
And your house is burning up

Candy tongue

The funny things you want
Is never never gonna be enough
Hunting on a blood buzz

Candy tongue, dandy tongue
I believe it's coming on
Oh Clarice, oh Clarice
Tell tail of epiphany
Candy tongue

Spirit of one animal
Stronger than me, candy tongue
For better or worse you're falling off
Skyscrapers high your line

Candy tongue, dandy tongue
I believe it's coming on
Oh Clarice, oh Clarice
Tell tail of epiphany

Candy tongue, candy tongue
Turn the pages and be done
Be with me, be with me
Trick the tricks of memory

Be with me, be with me
Trick the tricks of memory

Candy tongue
Candy tongue
Candy tongue
Candy tongue

With a touch of Metric. I like it.
Marie Fisker with the vocals on this one

How about camel tongue?
Just fabulous lyrics. Complimenti, Candy Tongue.

Absolutely.  All for the better.  What is it these days?  Swedish lasses bringing a smile to Black African men.    :-)

On a serious note, I worry that the Danes are getting a little 'us versus them'.  At least for my tastes.  Otherwise, there is much to be said for modern Neo-Viking constructive engagement.   Lots of lives have been saved.

"camel toe"...? that's a reach; you boys been goofin' wit da beez.
Happy House anyone?
Candy Tongue is okay, but I prefer their other big hit, Licorice Lips.
I always thought that Trentemoller was an alter ego for Trent Reznor. silly me.

This is like "Blinded By The Light".  Officially the lyric is "deuce", but we have ears... he's totally saying "douche"

She's totally saying "camel toe".

That's like the white/gold/black/blue dress question (there was an audio version of a similar thing going through the media a few months back) . Depending on your speakers, you WILL hear her say that or the other. On my BT-speaker here in my office I can hear her sing candy tongue - if I want to.
There is so much better Trentemøller than this cut. Please play more of him but other cuts..

Ha ha. I had to look at the lyrics. That's what I heard, too. Camel toe.

{#Bananajam}
When the melody started, I first thought it was Jean Micheal Jarre. Then I heard the vocal and thought "Goldfrap". Strange.

Hey RP... hearing that Prince died... can you please play something in his honor?  If you are reading this??
Nix the beep, beep!
do it like that, just like that . . .don't ever stop . . .
Ha Ha.  Can't unhear "camel toe"....
Pretty cool! For me, evokes a lot of Bat for Lashes, and kinda like Kate B, but most definitely Scandinavian in flavor and style. Curious!

Bill & Becky do have a 'thing' for Scandinavians, going by the many and varied Scandinavian artists that get play on RP. For which many thanks - maybe it's those dark winter nights, but they do produce some excellent and innovative music. Nice to see them employing cultural invasion rather than more, erm, robust methods the Norse used back in medieval times  {#War}

camel toe.
What is this cheap trick of adding emergency sirens, back-up beepers, and other gimmick attractants to an otherwise boring, formulaic bit of junk music?
Eccentric but excellent

It is good.  Mysterious
Not too unlike some Norah Jones either. Which means it's good music but, for me, ehhhh.

Well, that took me to another place.  Wow.
Thought this was Portishead.
Surprised to see it's another nice band.
Thanks for a new discovery.
Should've named it Candy Tøngue.
To all the Portishead commenters, I completely concur.
Makes me want to listen to Portishead

I totally thought they were saying that! weird...
Very Cherry Bikini-ish, only MUCH better
anything that has the phrase 'Candy Tongue' should be sung not so seriously

Hmm....I was just thinking the opposite.

I can't believe it's not Portishead.

Yes, the band originally had another title in mind for this song, but their publicist (luckily, a connaisseur of English-language porn) convinced them they had no choice but to use the lyric 'candy tongue' in the title to avoid misplaced Internet tagging of their song.

I find the way the sustained keyboard notes drift flatter really jarring, in that introduction. Hard to listen to, and not in a good way.

Suddenly I am a fan of this song!
