Wake again to tea with cinnamon
some honey on a spoon it is almost noon
Walking down the stairs to shed my morning tears
just can't be satisfied lord knows that I've tried
that I've tried that I've tried
And it's so beautiful, it's so beautiful,
it's so beautiful
but it's not real it's not real
Bright the sun the day is almost done
I sit and drink champagne I am very sane
Smell this tea
and dream of what could be
defeated yet again
by tea with cinnamon
as many braver men
I might bounce back my friend
And it`s so beautiful it`s so beautiful
it's so beautiful
but it`s not real it`s not real
Now it`s night and I don`t feel so bright
My pulse is beating fast this will never last
Another day is gone and I can not outrun
The time is closing in let the sleep begin
let it begin let it begin
some honey on a spoon it is almost noon
Walking down the stairs to shed my morning tears
just can't be satisfied lord knows that I've tried
that I've tried that I've tried
And it's so beautiful, it's so beautiful,
it's so beautiful
but it's not real it's not real

Agreed, fun and enjoyable, but still wants me want to climb way out on a limb with my McCullough and saw close to the trunk.
Edit: not many songs have this kind of voteage distribution.

Right with you. This is a bit cloying but they have a lovely, lively sound. They do a great version of Genesis's "Land of Confusion" which RP should play.
Love this band. This is not their best song, but still fun and enjoyable.

no.no.no.no it's not so beautiful!
I stumbled across this band in Milwaukee. They are all multi-instrumentalists, and rotate through ther instruments like a volleyball team. They have a unique, quirky, and enjoyable style. But they are very entertaining live, and I would recommend seeing them if you can.
Wow, this gets annoying quickly, doesn't it?
I could not PSD, thinking it might get better, but it never did, and now that circus music is stuck in my head.
Not horrible - kinda quirky!
Just checked out this band. They have much better songs and are a hoot live. Way better than I thought they would be.
Yup s BARFO
NEVER need to hear that again!
It's not real.
Sweet voice.
I feel compelled to express my dislike of this Eurovision pap. Please no more.
I might even set up another 10 accounts just so I can vote 1-sucko barfo in an attempt to stop Bill playing it again.

OK, this is cute, but I think one listen is enough.
I'm off to the Carnival now...

SWOON! Wish you'd play them more RP!!!
ah isn't this sweet
my Ladies came to sing for me

Has RP been hacked?
A parody? Or retro? Or...? Definitely not "pop"...

What?
Krapp
A circus song. Not to be taken seriously. Not even in a hipster ironic way.
Not my cup 'o tea with cinnamon

Outstanding musical craftsmanship and far enough from mainstream to keep things interesting around here on RP. Here, Bill, have a banana...

Huh, not like the Katzenjammer Kids?

Indeed. Reality is over-rated, as is seriousness. These women seem like they'd be fun.
I'm always in the mood to hear women singing in harmony about how good things are... and how that's not real! And that's for real!

Wins points for weirdness & melody.
LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!! Thank you for finally playing Katzenjammer!!!! I screamed like a little girl when it came on!!!

If Weird Al was a girl, he might sound like this.
I agree - this one fits into a certain mind-set. If I were suicidal, this song would NOT be conducive to my opening a vein. Or, it would drive me to it when I wasn't in the mood to end my life. I like it, though - it's so beautiful.... but it's not real...

Now about the song. I think it's one of those I really gotta be in the mood to hear. Right now ain't that mood. Solid 2 from the Asheville jury.

Nothing wrong with a bit of fun in music.
