The nature of reality
Is pure subjective fantasy
Space and time and here and now
Are only in your mind
Machine of god and devil too
With no weapon just the truth
Belief does not existence make
It's only in your mind

Space and time and here and now
Are only in your mind
Machine of god and devil too
With no weapon just the truth

From the kitchen I wondered out loud "is this Julian Lennon?".
Bombastic turgidity. I've heard more imaginative drumming from the 14 year old kid across the road.
They had their big time, probably more than they deserved. If people buy it, well then fine, but I don't have to like it.
These guys are just cool - they rock!
Oh, come on. Sometimes you need to rock out a little.

One of those rare RP tracks I can't even stand to listen to and makes me switch to a different internet station every time.

No....it's dross
Too bad that this is probably going to be there last CD for a while. I'd lost interest prior to this CD, but they picked it up a bit with this one. Lot's of good stuff on there.
It's Spring 1972; I'm at a party in a cabin on the beach, wondering how this cool music from 36 years in the future got here.
GOOD

The right words, Sir. But the music is not bad, i guess!
Sounds like George Throughgood doing the riffs .... need to speed up the tempo by an eighth. Other than that, pretty OK. Can't say much about the rest of the CD. Pretty ordinary garage band, screamers and shouters mixed with a Nashville Hat Act or two.

I'm still not an Oasis fan, but I like where they're heading lately. I really like "Falling Down" and this one ain't bad neither.
Still love these guys...great album!

Yep, I'll second that. The Gallaghers might be Manc tits, but they've produced a good 'un here. Might even be worth buying. Sure it's derivative, particularly of the Beatles, but wtf - think of it as 'homage' :). 7 from the Nottingham jury.
Fred-
I thought you ddn't like Oasis!

I wasn't an Oasis fan until this CD. This song and CD ROCK!

Cruddy.

I became an Oasis fan with their second album, which is terrific, but after that one they lost their creative spark. They didn't get their mojo back until the album before this one - Don't believe The Truth - but this latest album is a true return to form, it does rock.

Well put. Falling Down from this album is the best thing they've done for a long time.
Agreed. This isn't bad either.

What is it with Oasis. I start to enjoy their music until that twat opens his gob - can someone shove something in it!

So on this listen, while the drum skills are still lackluster to my ears, the guitar is ROCKIN' this morning. Love it.
Is that Meg White's stellar (lack of) talent on the drums? Might as well be...

Spare me the wine sniffing. I love it. The deep riff is awesome.

Oasis on RP? This makes me sad. A new low.
It's a Radiohead antidote.
Oasis will never be the poster children for sanity, manners, or much else involving social graces — but, at the end of the day, the drunken, in-fighting, self-serving louts can put together some decent music. And since the music is what I'm judging, the hell with the rest of it. Well done with a nice edge to it.

Okay I'm awake now..... Sure beats watered down office coffee.
Wow nice. Great guitar work! (need a head banging emote lol.)

A disagreeable collection of oafs they may be, but Oasis sometimes makes good music.

Loud Guitars for Lunch...or Breakfast of Champions......
started well but got lost after that.
Interesting, but makes my teeth hurt a little.
