would you love to love me baby
in a way they'd say was crazy
in innocence, the essence of us all
would you love to love me naked
let it ride and we can make it
can't you hear every moment's new born call?
and love me without thinkin' it over
love me like the sun loves clover
when it grows
let it flow
I watch the waves down at the shoreline
they come like thought rolling in moretime
love me like the force that makes them grow
pure and free in all directions
naked sea in our reflection
somewhere so high above these gates you know I know
glory grows
and love me without thinkin' it over
love me like the sun loves clover
when it grows
let it flow
in a way they'd say was crazy
in innocence, the essence of us all
would you love to love me naked
let it ride and we can make it

Oh this takes me back! Saw him at the Cellar Door in DC in 1977 or so. Thanks for keeping Jimmie's music on air.
I gave a six for the song, but i have to give a 10+ for RP!
Artist I haven't heard alreday. Thanks

Ballad of Easy Rider modified for Slack Key guitar with Tim Buckley on vocals? Wha?

Boy does this take me back to a certain time in undergraduate school at a East coast University. Some might know it. It has a terrapin as its mascot. I had the LP cover blown up and rendered into a drawing which I put above the fireplace in the room of a off campus group house I lived in at that time.
It was an old Victorian-styled house with wrap-around front porch, and many a "long hair," both young men and women, students all, lived there back then. Thems were the days. Or maybe it's more appropriate to say "daze?" In any case thanks for playing this piece. It opened up memories I'd long forgotten. It's funny how it all seems like just yesterday.

I've never heard of him, and its lovely. Thanks, RP!
Nice tune for a life lived short. Tragic and great musical inheritance at the same time
Its tragic that he died from a motorcycle wreck.
Had this when it came out
Wow.
Very nice. Very Tim Buckley-esque, in a good way.

Yes, love this guy's music. Don't hear enough of it on RP. HInt, hint, nudge, nudge, say no more.
One of my favorites that doesn't get enough airplay.
