Much better than your average stomp rocker — the supple bass lines, generally tasty guitar, and the instrumental break really make it for me.

There is a lot of "country music" out there that is not welcomed by the MAGAt crowd. Check out Hayes Carll and The Band of Heathens. Never heard C. Stapleton talk about his politics but I suspect he does not align politically with the current powers-that-be.   Hell, the MAGAts even demonize Willie Nelson since he won't bend the knee.
