Ok I’ve tuned into to this station only a few times and already heard this repeated. I like the song but there are hundred of allman brothers songs if you want to play them or something different. This station is supposed to be different!

Spun this CD the other weekend and this album STILL stands the test of time. Just one jam after another.... so hard NOT to crack the volume to tinnitus levels!

I'm old, but never saw them live until Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes were holding it down with Greg. And of course Susan Tedeschi made a cameo (this was before her and Derek were publicly an "item"). One of THE BEST SHOWS I've ever been to in my life.

Wow. Southern R n R. This is so freakin good. My god, this use to be so common to hear  several bands playing this genre; albeit not this well.  But hey...they were trying.

The guitar work is soooooo good.  You can get high on it.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian award in the U.S. It recognizes those individuals who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the ... cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."

If they didn't, perhaps they should've.

The two-drum setup is essential to their sound. I'd prefer this to a synth-drum soundtrack beat with no soul. Listen to the Grateful Dead sometime, you'll hear a similar thing. Its no worse than a drum line in a marching band, really. What an organic, cool thing, as if the beat has its own life.

i agree - the loss of Duane and Barry was terrible, but adding Chuck was phenomenal I recently got a copy of their show at the Nassau Coliseum, and Mountain Jam with a great keyboardist is incredible
