Shoved into a closet made of shame
You remember every moment you were broken
And anyone who ever trashed your name
Ohhh you got therapy and long ass walks
A couple of friends they don't mind how much you need to talk
Turn all that hurt into lightning and dirt
Real good dirt, real good dirt
You've been writing down the future in your notebook
All the money and the praise that you should earn
You've been gathering a lifetime full of hatred
But in the end you are the only one that feels the burn
Ohhh you got therapy and long ass walks
A couple of friends, they don't mind how much you need to talk
Turn all that hurt into lightning and dirt
Real good dirt, real good dirt
Ohhh you got therapy and long ass walks
A couple of friends, they don't mind how much you need to talk
Turn all that hurt into lightning and dirt
Real good dirt, real good dirt
This guy is like a chameleon.
When i first heard him on RP, he sounded like Lowell George. Kinda looks like him, too.
Then on a another song, he sounds like Jackson Browne.
On this one, he sounds like Neil.
Them some chop, man.
Had My Reasons... I thought LG had been ressureted...

Good stuff. I had to put customer service on hold while I jammed to this. Not sure they appreciated it though.
You could hit the pause button on RP you know like I just did when my wife called as this song was playing
Thought It was Pink Floyd playing
I don't see any connection whatsoever. Pink Neil Young, maybe.
musics good, singing no so much….
For me, Anders is one of those musicians whose songs work because of the way the music and vocals go together. It bothered me at first, but in the sort of way that made me pay attention. The more I paid attention the more I got it and the more I loved it. Same sort of thing has happened to me with Dylan, Young, McMurtry, Mike Scott...lots of the more interesting artists.
Really digging all the great new music coming out of RP!
This Guy has been around for a while.... the earlier stuff is good too! Long Live RP!Really digging all the great new music coming out of RP!
Agreed!
This is so much like early, gnarly, ragin' Neil Young...
Love it!
My first thought, exactly. Damn you, Colorado for reading my mind...
Same here! I get some Steve Earle and John Hiatt vibes here too. Dang, listening to RP is like describing wine sometimes. Or maybe whiskey. :-)

Not in a bad way.
Thought it was Neil Young at first too. A solid 7. I like!
