Meh.This sounds thin and rickety. I could listen to JD’s original and never have missed this cover at all. This adds no depth nor reverence for a remarkably simple and beautiful song. 👎🏼

1975, Orion Elementary School on the Elmendorf Air Force Base just outside of Anchorage, Alaska. We were graced with a visit from the Miss Alaska of the year, Andie Higgins. She wore her official parka and sang songs, one of which was "Take Me Home", with a few lyric modifications. I think of her every time I hear this song.

Remind me to never invite you to a party. As a singer myself, they are doing a fantastic job and their harmonies are superb.

Have to agree, she's no Patty Griffin or other more emotive folk/country singer.  I'm bored when it plays and have to skip it.

Also one of the girls (singing mostly the highest notes) is not very steady. They indeed could use some training.
