Not really a strong enough melody to warrant an instrumental version, in my opinion.
The KC Royals are a few minutes away from starting their first playoff game since 2015, and this song comes on? Coincidence?

Not sure about this. Sound interesting to me, but also forced into a new genre.
I like this quirky tune.
For sure not more obnoxious than Paul Simon, for example.
