If you're searching for the answer
To the riddle here on Earth

The Riddle’s gone unanswered
From the moment of it’s birth

Searching for the answer
So many would pursue,
In favor of their honor
She provided just one clue

Rise up from the ashes
You decide which way to go,
Either up, down,
Or side ways,
Then you’ll need to know

You will rise, like a flame,
Rise, live again,
You will rise like a flame
Rise, live again

If you're searching for the answer
To the riddle here on Earth

The Riddle’s gone unanswered
From the moment of it’s birth

Searching for the answer

Then you’ll need to know

You will rise, like a flame,
Rise, live again,
You will rise like a flame
Rise, live again

You will rise, like a flame,
Rise, live again,
You will rise like a flame
Rise, live again
Live again,
You will live again

I like the hats.
I like it.  Nicely, quietly, contemplative:

"The Riddle's gone unansered
From the moment of its birth."

I presume this to mean the "Why am I here" question that we all come 'round to if we live long enough, are introspective enough.  Yes?

For me the answer has been given.  And it's really quite simple.  But I can't share it, because it's a truth derived from each and every individual's experiences.  You have to find it for yourself.  It's not a truth meant to be taught one being to another.  That said I can proffer this clue.  It's emergent from Joy.

So enjoy your life, this journey, this adventure.  And take to heart this truth that I can share.  The spirit is energy, and all our physics says energy is never destroyed, only transformed.  So, you exist so long as Time does, you'll merely change into something new along your way.

And in answer to your question no.  I haven't eaten an edible, or done anything to alter myself.  😉  I'm fully present in the moment, enjoying this Paradise on this day.  May the same be true for you, too.

Super-cool! I love the haunting, meditative, almost Shpongle-style vocals and the half-koto, half-shamisen tone of the lovely strings... There's also something in the soundscape strongly reminiscent of my favorite Clannad songs... By the way, hey, Yaeyama Retto (Islands) -- what a place! Remote, jungly, and home of fabulous seafood and friendly Ryukyu people... Ishigaki City has some crazy nightlife, too, believe it or not! Watch out for the Kyu-ju Doh Awamori, (180-proof rice liquor), or you might wake up late and barely make your snorkeling rendezvous! Maybe the only place in the world to see and eat the indescribably delicious rainbow-colored fish called goma-aigo! The crystal-clear waters off Hateruma-jima gave me some of the most spectacular diving experiences I've ever had, too.

I saw the Clannad reference upon 2nd or 3rd glance through your post and thought, "Yes, that's what I'm hearing too!" Fun to know that someone else shares the same, slightly esoteric, musical tastes. Thanks coloradojohn, for taking the time to write your posts. I may not always agree with them, but I always enjoy them.
Nice. For a moment I thought Agnes Obel, which is a big compliment.
Very nice!

I like very much.
But I wonder if we listened to the complete album if we would tire of it ..... (Too much the same)
On my 2nd hearing of  "Rise" giving it a 7 rating
I like it! It's exquisitely meditative... Ethereal, and yet certain elements force the mind to remain fully in the present moment...
i am first but not gonna be last
